Corporate Social Responsibility
We're committed to meeting the needs of not only our
customers, employees, investors and partners — but of the global
community as well.
At Attero, we strive to bring corporate responsibility to every aspect
of our business. We've institutionalized strong principles of corporate
governance. We support open source initiatives that increase access to
technology, and we work diligently to ensure the privacy and security
of our customers. We're committed to managing a responsible and diverse
working environment that's consistent with our high standards of
environmental and business practices.
Attero has always focused on environment protection and sustainability. As an environmentally and socially responsible company we have planted and nurtured more than 150 trees and plants to date. Our commitment to the environment and helping to make it more sustainable is an inherent part of our corporate philosophy.
ttero was founded on the principle of helping organizations engage in
sustainable and environment-friendly business practices by
facilitating and managing the electronic and IT asset disposal
process. We help organizations develop technology disposal and
are at the forefront of the electronic waste problem. We have
recently joined hands with LG for the proper disposal of end of
life cell-phones.
We believe our corporate responsibility begins "at home", with our
employees. We're proud of our efforts to foster an inclusive
global workforce, while also engaging employees in programs designed to
meet our eco and social responsibility goals and commitments. We
also seek to implement key workplace initiatives and engage our
employees in community-investment and development initiatives that serve
the communities we live and operate in.
Our Strength
Attero’s recycling process is a balance between disassembly, mechanical
separation of complex materials and metallurgical treatment, resulting
in a minimization of the labor intensive manual disassembly.
First Stage - Manual segregation of components, where different parts of E-waste are separated.
Second Stage - The mechanical separation process is
applied. In this process, ferrous, aluminum, plastic and non ferrous
material are initially separated.
Third Stage - The plastics are then recycled by Attero Group’s innovative plastics recycling process which further processes the plastic.
Fourth Stage - The non-ferrous metals
are sent to Attero’s metallurgical treatment plant where the
non-ferrous metals are separated into constituent metals. This allows
Attero Recycling to achieve higher efficiency and exceed recycling and
recovery rates across the different WEEE categories. This is an
indigenously developed process by Attero, a pioneer in transforming
non-recyclable plastic to carbon black.
Research & Development
Attero Recycling has a research and development wing which is
continuously working on enhancing the recycling process. Batch sampling
is done on a continuous basis allowing us to analyze the substances and
materials from the product streams, which have environmental impact in
downstream processes. This also helps the R&D team to make the
process more efficient.
Ethics & Integrity
Attero Recycling was founded to help companies and organizations engage
in environmentally-friendly business practices that create value. We
help organizations develop a technology disposal policy that will
provide them with a well-documented chain of custody of those assets
from the moment it is removed from service, until the time of
disposition. We believe that integrity and a firm sense of ethics should
be the foundation of all aspects of business and we are committed to
initiate a socially-responsible movement towards electronic waste.
Through our national network, we make electronics and asset disposal an
easy, cost-effective process for our clients. We operate with integrity
and look forward to your partnership in this fight against E waste.
We are at the forefront of the electronic waste problem and are
affiliated with CPCB and government agencies working together to “close
the loop” on proper electronics disposal. We utilize cutting edge
technology coupled with a simple approach that makes electronic
recycling and IT asset disposal straightforward, secure and affordable.

The Leela
Values
We believe in the intrinsic value of objects, we believe in their inner
worth. Where everybody sees waste, we see a potential - The potential
of life. We e-cycle and give the obsolete electricals a new life and a
new function - that of saving the Earth, from landfills, pollution,
depletion of resources and deforestation. The
values by which we live our lives today, will determine whether we are
able to make the 21st century "a Century of the Environment” and turn
our society into a sustainable one.
We stand today at a crossroad, with a responsibility to move forward
unhesitatingly and to accomplish what needs to be done to conserve the
Earth for future generations by looking beyond short-term convenience.
We are determined to make every effort to establish an environmentally
sound nation, in which each one of us can realise, that we are
responsible for protecting the Earth, as we carefully assess our
efforts to improve the environment individually.
