We are located in Tuticorin, national seaport city located in gulf of mannar. Founded by an agricultural graduate Mr. S. I. Contract Farming is an institutional arrangement between the farmers and the agro-processing or exporting units or traders, devised to ensure a regular supply of product to the latter at a negotiated price. We Svm exports doing contract farming with the farmers. Contract farming is very much suitable for perennial crops such as Jatropha, which involves larger initial costs, which may hinder its cultivation if there is not, assured marketing opportunity. Already we are doing 500 Hectares of jatropha on contract farming. Our target is to reach more than 7000 Hectares within 2008.
 
Promotes alternative sources of fuel by offering wide range of bio-diesel products.

We are providing a wide assortment of jatropha seed and jatropha crude oil. Our range is widely used for bio-fuel production. These are the perfect substitute for the fuels in the age of oil scarcity. Following are some of the salient features of jatropha:
 

• Perennial hardy shrub
• Drought resistant and survives well in arid and semi arid tropics
• Grows well in all types of soil even in degraded wastelands

Jatropha has the potential to yield seeds up to 5 tons per acre / year and contains 30-35% oil. Raw Curcas oil is an ideal bio-fuel and it could be mixed with diesel up to 20% and esterified oil is 100% diesel substitute. Besides fuel purpose, oil is also used in Soap and Paint industries and seeds and plant parts are also used for medicinal purposes and Dyes.
 
Jatropha leaves can be used as vermin compost and jatropha roots are used as a medicine for snakebite. Its pre-matured stems are good for brushing teeth and burning dry leaves can control insects and flies.
