We offer impermeable, durable and deformation resistant bitumen mastic. Our bitumen mastic is a homogeneous mortar which is a mixture of high grade bitumen, mineral fillers and fine aggregates. Its consistency is such that it flows like highly viscose fluid at a temperature of about 200 degree Celsius but on cooling down it becomes hard. Uses of our bitumen mastic are: • For self healing of cracks and avoid leakage. • Shock and vibration absorption. • For building material, warehouses, grain storage structures, surfacing of bridge decks, roads, foot paths and LPG bottling plants. • As damp proofing material for underground tanks, basements etc. • As base coat/underlay to receive floor coverings such as linoleum, flexible PVC sheets, rubber and acid proof tiles. • As covering of floors for electroplating shops, processing departments, chemicals, liquor wash sections and gutter. • In fertilizer, rayon or water treatment plants and other chemical factories where continuous or frequent contact with dilute effluents is expected. There are different types of bitumen mastic suitable for different purposes: • Bitumen mastic for flooring - IS : 1195 - 1978. • Bitumen mastic for waterproofing of roofs - IS : 3037 – 1965. • Bitumen mastic for bridge decking and roads – IS : 5317 – 1969. • Bitumen mastic tanking and damp-proofing – IS : 5871 – 1970. • Bitumen mastic anti-static and electricity conducing grade – IS : 8374 – 1977. • Bitumen mastic -acid resistance grade – IS : 9510 – 1980. • Black pitch, mastic flooring(oil resistant). • Bitumen mastic for waterproofing and protective coating for concrete slabs.

• The temperature susceptibility of ESN rubberised bitumen is lower than that of ordinary bitumen.
• The addition of rubber in bitumen increases the softening point of the bitumen and reduces penetration and makes it more elastic.
• ESN rubberised bitumen increases the compressive strength of the paving mixture.
• ESN rubberised bitumen has better adhesive properties.
• Use of ESN rubberised bitumen reduced the ductility but enhances the tensile strength unlike ordinary paving grade bitumen.
