The journey started in 1967 with the establishment of TRACK PARTS CORPORATION who incepted in the market as a major importer of spares for earthmoving and mining Machinery Equipment.

Over The Years, TRACK PARTS CORPORATION acquired the distributorship of some globally renowned companies like GRADALL, USA (a JLG Co.) for Telescopic Boom Excavators, DANA SPICER, USA for Drivelines & SCHROEDER INDUSTRIES LLC, USA for Hydraulic Filters.

In the early eighties, TRACK PARTS CORPORATION became the Indian distributor of COMMERCIAL INTERTECH, USA. Encouraged by the initial response, COMMERCIAL INTERTECH (Now a part of Parker Hannifin Corporation) agreed to the formation of a new company and thus COMMERCIAL HYDRAULICS (INDIA) PVT. LTD. was formed and commenced its operation.

Today, TRACK PARTS CORPORATION has Branch Offices/ Resident Representatives in almost every major Indian City and Industrial location to extend and effective and high quality service support to its ever increasing clientele in Core Industrial Sectors like Steel, Mining, Cement & Defense etc.

Thus, what was once the dream of the founders, Mr. U.S. Agarwal and Mr. L. K. Agarwal in the late sixties is now a reality, Both COMMERCIAL HYDRAULICS and TRACK PARTS CORPORATION have thereafter grown from strength to strength adding to their financial muscle. The group’s other activities include Financial Services, Real Estate and manufacturing of Edible oil. Today, the group is rated among the premier Business Houses of Eastern India.

State-of-the-art manufacturing plant of VEKTRA ENGINEERING is conveniently located at Budge Budge nearby Kolkata City.

The land area is 1.75 acres and EXISTING SHED AREA is 25,000 sq. ft. Sufficient open space is available for future expansion. The entire shop floor area is covered by 2 nos overhead crane each of 3 MT capacities to facilitate material handling.

State-of-the-art manufacturing plant equipped with machines like Vertical Honing, CNC Lathes, 7 mtrs. long Lathe, Vertical Machining Centre, Grinding, Pulse Mig Welding. Hydraulic Band Saw and Optical Profile Cutting Machines supported with Conventional Machines, EOT Cranes and Tool Room.

Layouts of manufacturing shops and machines have been made in a fashion to minimize the movement of materials.

Assembly shop is equipped with High Pressure Water Jet cleaning machine for cleaning Tubes and Piston Rods and Ultrasonic cleaning bath for cleaning of other components prior to assembly in a dust controlled area to ensure trouble-free and longer life of products.

Heat treatment of required items is carried out at our own Induction Hardening Plant where we can do upto Job Dia. 250 mm, and job length - 3000 mm.

Final product is subjected to routine tests as specified as per International Test Standards like IS: 10585 to optimize operational performance. Prototypes developed with Vektra designs or as per customer's design can be subjected to endurance test in a specially designed state-of-the-art Universal Test Rig with Oil Cleanliness level of NAS 7 or better to evaluate product quality and reliability.

Following tests can be conducted in the Test Rig in addition to normal tests:

• Impulse Endurance Test
• Cyclic Endurance Test

We have started our separate division for Overhauling & Reconditioning of all types of Hydraulic Cylinders. A group of well experienced people are involved in this.

Already we are executing bulk orders from users of Earthmoving, Construction and Mining Equipments, Steel & Aluminium Plants for reconditioning of their various cylinders.
