Based in the Malabar Coast,a region of dense tropical indian rain forests and backwaters,wedged between the mountains to the east and the arabian sea to the west,it has access to high quality timber as well as craftsmen with an unbroken tradition of fine woodworking that has existed for thousands of years. We use fine timbers mahogany,teak and rosewood grown for the purpose in plantations. Individual logs are inspected,selected and sawn in a manner that brings out the true quality of timber. And the wood is carefully seasoned to ensure stability of the product.
