These filter presses are very extensively used in oil mills, chemical works etc. Our filter presses are most suitable for cleaning oil drawn from the different expelling plants. The filtering capacity varies with the viscosity of the oil & liquids & with the amount of sediment contained therein. Filter press consists of chiefly C.I. square plates, mounted parallel on heavy flat M.S. Bars fixed on heavy cast iron stand. All filter presses are supplied with air vessel, cloth clips, cocks, M.S. gutter & best quality belt driven plunger pump at 50 R.P.M. The oil or liquids pressed by a belt driven plunger pump passes through filter cloth fitted to either side of each plate. All impurities are retained by the filter cloth, the filtered oil leaves the chamber through cocks fitted to each plate & flows where it is collected

Fats and oils consist of mixtures of different triglycerides (Esters of glycerol, saturated and unsaturated fatty acids). Crude fats and oils produced by expeller screw press or solvent extraction contain non glyceride impurities. The most important and useful method completely reduces the free fatty acid in the oil by converting them into oil-insoluble soaps. There is also removal of some impurities from oil by direct absorption. By virtue of this process many impurities of treated oil can be reduced. Batch Neutralizer is controlling the minimum loss of oil during neutralizing. It consists of robust built cylindrical shell bodies with steep conical bottom. There are several atomizers fitted at the top of neutralizer for proper dispersing of caustic lye and hot water for water washing. The neutralizer capacity is designed for processing oil and fats with higher free fatty acid for quicker heating to desired temperature and for effective separation of soap stock. Motor gearboxes are fitted to suit continuous rating and gives trouble free life long service.

Plates, properly machined to ensure perfect alignment & facilitating erection on proper foundation. Kettle: The Steam Round Kettle is of M.S. Extra thick plate construction with welded seams & hydraulically tested & fitted with all steam fittings i.e. steam safety valve, pressure gauge and other valves. Barrel: (Chamber Box) is manufactured from M.S. thick plate suitably machined for assembly of the tempered cage Bars & frame Bars. Gear Box: The Gear Box is totally closed & made from heavy Cast Iron Casting. The main Gear is made from M.S. Machine teeth ring mounted on C.I. Block. Gear is heavy & in balancing. The Bevel & pinion are of casehardened steel. All gears are of machine cut and run in oil bath. Parts: All parts such as worms, cage bars, cone, discharging etc. are highly case hardened & tempered ensuring quality & durability.
