We, Prasol Chemicals Limited (ISO 9001:2000 Certified, BVQI, London) are an established manufacturer and distributor of chemicals in national and international markets. Prasol’s philosophy is ‘Customer First, Quality First’ which is applied on a daily basis in our work. Prasol employs a workforce of more than two hundred who are working in beautiful surroundings of our factory at Khopoli, which is 60 Kms east Mumbai India, where we manufacture Phosphorus Pentasulphide, Phosphorus Pentoxide, Diacetone Alcohol, Isophorone, Food Grade Phosphoric Acid, Hexylene Glycol. Prasol is also well established in trading of many chemicals whereby niche chemicals are imported for local market and other chemicals are exported globally. Further, Prasol offers its Research and Development Laboratory at Vashi for contract research to many MNC’s on highest confidential terms. We also offer our Testing Lab to the Chemical industry for third party testing.

We have widened our scope of operations considerably since our inception as a Private Limited Company in the early 90's. We were earlier known as Prasol Poly Products Ltd. and converted to a Public Ltd. Co. in the year 1995. Our progressive company was founded by a group of technocrats having several years of experience. All our founding members came together to realize the common goal of creating social and economic benefits. This is to be achieved through aggressive expansion in the domestic as well as international arena.

Manufacturing Expertise:

We have over 15 years of manufacturing experience in phosphorus based chemicals, solvents, lube oil additives that includes liquid acetone, speciality chemicals and other chemical solvents. Our products are recognized world wide for their quality. 

We engage in importing a number of niche chemicals that are procured to fulfill the requirement of the local markets. All our chemicals can be availed by the customers from our ex-stock.

Infrastructural Prowess:



We pride in our state-of-the-art infrastructure that comprises of a modernized manufacturing facility and qualified manpower. Our production unit is spread over a 6 acres of land and offers ample space for production of chemicals in bulk amounts.

PRASOL provides excellent pre and post sales technical support. We can tailor make certain chemicals to customer requirements. Custom packaging and labeling is performed per customer needs. We have a combined manufacturing capacity 25,000 tonnes/annum. We have excellent process control through use of automation; this is part of our continuous improvement initiative. We also have onsite quality control group and labs for in process testing of material quality. Our materials are sold in the local markets and exported to countries like Australia, Japan, China, Europe, Russia, USA, South Africa etc.

We have well equipped Research and Development division that comprises of a world class laboratory that enables quicker analysis of chemicals and also offers synthesis facilities for conducting contract research and development. Spread over 2000 sq. ft. Of covered area, our R&D division not only has the latest equipment but is also manned by qualified professionals. We adhere to Good laboratory Practices and ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are also maintained for all the instruments in the lab.

We have all the requisite facilities for analyzing and development of chemicals. Our company also undertakes the following projects:

• Method of development work of R&D type


• Minimum confirmation and impurity identification by GC and HPLC for bulk drugs and raw materials.

• Testing of samples for purity, moisture and other factors



• Contract research for product development on high confidentiality basis



• Analysing bulk drugs, raw materials,finished products, trial elements is carried out as per IP, US and BP

Our computerized laboratory is also used for generating computerized certificates of testing in Form 39 and issued to the manufacturer or supplier. It is also equipped with modern methods and gadgets of communication that enable faster and accurate services to all our customers.
