The hand bell and dorje are the principal ritual objects of buddhism religion. Traditionally, they are used together, the bell in the left hand and the dorje in the right hand. These bells produce an incredible sound when rubbed with a playing stick or when rung. These bells may be used during prayers and meditations. These consist of 2 parts. The vajra is held in the right hand and the bell in the left as the relevant ritual hand-gestures (mudra) are performed. Tibetan tantric instrument traditionally used as a set; the dorje is held in the opposite hand, not struck against the bell.
