Apricot Oil is one of the best carrier oils as well as massage oil because of its rapid absorption in the skin, non greasy nature and moisturizing properties .The oil is rich in linoleic acid and oleic acid and naturally contains Vitamin A & Vitamin B. The Apricot Oil that we are offering is cold pressed extracted from the kernels of apricots growing in the upper reaches of Himalayas in Ladakh. Collection and de-kerneling of the apricots is vital source of income for the villagers. The sale of this oil benefits these villagers and sustains their livelihood so that they don’t have to migrate to cities for employment.

Since ancient times women in Middle East & Africa have been using Kajals to add mystery to their eyes. At the same time, Kajal also guarded their eyes from dust & heat. Vedicare’s Natural Kajals are based on Ayurvedic Recipe and made from premium quality ingredients. Thats true, there are no chemicals or artificial preservative. Even the colours are natural! Ghee the main ingredient in our Kajal is a natural skin conditioner while vegetable waxes act as a lubricant. The presence of Honey & Rose extract soothes the eyes while Camphor acts as a natural anti-bacterial agent. It also provides a cooling sensation. Vedicare Kajals don't contain any lanoline Key Ingredients: Ghee, Carnauba Wax, Bees wax, Coco butter, Castor oil, Honey, Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Castor Oil, Rose Extract & Camphor . Vedicare Kajals have undergone stringent quality & stability tests both in France & in India during their development stage. They have been found to conform to the prescribed standards of safety. Each batch of Kajal comes with a test report from an independent lab, which tests it for microbiological & heavy metal safety.

Our range of Pastes has “naturally evolved” from the spices available in the region. The range currently includes Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste. Garlic-Ginger Paste & Mustard Paste The world is fast switching to whole bodied, cold pressed oils as cooking mediums. Our certified Organic range includes traditionally cold pressed Mustard Oil & Sesame Oil. Mustard Oil is available in two varieties- Black & Yellow. These oils are of great importance in Ayurveda too.

We are proud to launch the first range of Certified Organic pickles. These pickles are made using fresh fruits & vegetables, cold-pressed mustard oil & hand ground spices. We are grateful for the bio-diversity of the regions because of which most of the ingredients are available locally and that too as certified organic. The recipes are traditional but the production is carried out in GMP certified unit. We maintain hygiene without losing the traditional flavour. The processing unit, which produces the pickles, is symbol of the empowerment of the women of this region as it provides direct employment to the women and harnesses their traditional skills.

The farmers get ethical prices for their produce and we are assured of the quality of the herbs we use. Herbs are collected at our collection center. The herbs are cleaned and graded through natural means & production is carried out in a certified organic processing unit equipped to GMP standards. Each batch is tested for micro-bio & heavy metal contamination.

One of the major concerns about chillies today is the presence of pesticides and chemicals. Our Certified Organic Chillies have been tested in European labs and found to be complying with International standards.
Our farmers cultivate two kinds of chillies- Yellow & Red. These are shade dried in the fresh Himalayan air & then diligently cleaned before processing into flakes or powders. The region also produces very fine garlic, ginger, turmeric, mustard, fenugreek & coriander. All these spices are available as Certified Organic.
