VERSATILITY : Machine Kraft 3 Dimensional Pedestal type Pantograph Milling and Engraving machine is hand operated, has very wide applications and can be used in every branch of Engineering Industry. The machine can be used in Die-sinking work such as Coining-Dies, Forging-Dies and pattern makers shops. The machine could be used for light milling work also.
RIGIDITY AND ACCURACY : All care has been taken to build the machine with best possible materials and adopting high grade of workman - ship to give accurate production. The castings are of close grain cast-iron and generously proportioned for rigidity. Close machining tolerances and hand scraping of sliding parts, ensure required accurately built on the machine.
WIDE SPEED RANGE : The main spindle is fitted with high precision bearings and is designed for a wide range of eight speeds, from 1100 r.p.m. to 12,000 r.p.m. The wide speed range of the cutter spindle makes it possible to obtain the correct speed for all types of material.
SENSITIVITY : The swiveling points of the Pantograph arm system run in needle roller bearings giving a long life without adjustment. Master shapes can be traced very sensitively and accurately with this sensitive hinge system.
EASE OF OPERATION : The foot operated switch leaves both hands free and the operator can reach comfortably, in a sitting position, all controls used for adjustment and operation.
REDUCTION RATIO : The reduction ratio of the Pantograph arm can be adjusted beyond the usual values very accurately by putting slip gauge blocks between the measuring bases provided on the arms.
CUTTER SPINDLE ASSEMBLY : The cutter spindle goes up automatically by spring pressure after engraving each character, thus preventing the spoiling of job. It is also free of vibration even at amximum speed, thus ensuring a clean and excellent surface finish of the work.

KNEE : The knee is well braced by internal partition walls giving it in the greatest stability. In all respects, it has been carefully designed with wide slide surfaces which gives a rigid support to saddle and table. The Vertical screw for raising and lowering is provided with Thrust bearing for taking the vertical load. The Feed Gear Box is built on side of the Knee.
HEADSTOCK : The Milling spindle is fitted with Two Taper Roller Bearings. The different spindle speeds which are in geometrical progression are obtained by means of sliding gears. All Headstock Gears are of special alloy steel run in Oil bath, hence wear and tear is minimum. The table screw has a Gun-metal nut which minimizes the wear & tear. The table screw is mounted on the thrust and ball bearings which also takes the axial load of the screw.
BASE : The base which is heavy also serves as a coolant tank.
COLUMN : The column is very rigid and all guides are hand scrapped to give accurate results.

'TEE' Electro Mechanical Pyramid Type Plate Bending Machines are the most popular plate bending machines working in India with over a thousand machines in use. They are designed for production of cylindrical shells used for pipes, storage tanks, chimneys, pressure vessels, etc. These heavy duty plate bending machines employ the orthodox three roller pyramid principle. For Quality finished product, the bend angle's must not only be precise but also consistent along the entire sheet length.This means that the table and top beam (hence top and bottom tooling) must be parallel along their entire length during bending. For this anti deflection system or ADS for short is used. This system guarantees much greater precision than the traditional passive systems of shimming with paper or the use of an intermediate beam with compensation by wedges.

MAIN FRAMES : The frame is welded plate construction and the design layout is such that most of the stress comes on rigid frame members and weldments are subjected to only very low stress level. All mating parts are machined after welding and finishing, resulting into a very low distortion level. BOTTOM ROLLS : Bottom Rolls re of forged EN-8 alloy steel. The end journals of these rolls are supported in high quality bronze bushes with thrust collars. They move up and down diagonally through independent screws by Worm & Worm gears arrangement. Two Dog Cutches are provided which can be uncoupled & bottom rolls tilted when conical rolling is to be done. TOP ROLL & SWING ARM : Top Roll is machined from forged EN-8 alloy steel. Both end journals are supported in high quality bronze bushes with thrust collars. The trunion (Non-driving) end of the roll is held in place by a swing arm. It is motorised and swung out for removal of finished shell. During this the bearing remains on the roll, preventing foreign particles from falling on the finished load bearing surface. The top roll remains counter balanced by shaft extension on the headstock. MAIN DRIVE : Main Drive is through an electric motor of ample capacity. This motor drives a heavy duty worm reduction Gear Box which in turn is coupled to a distribution gear box with two output shafts. These shafts carry the flexible cardan joints. Similar cardan joints are provided on the ends of the two bottom rolls and these joints are coupled by the Carrdan Shafts which transmit power to these rolls. These cardan shafts are provided with eight bronze wear pads on all sliding surface giving a long trouble free lift.
Casting are stress relieved by vibration FORMULA 62 and in normalising oven. Tail stock, wheel & work spindles are heat treated to achieve dimensional stability. Assembly of precision bearings within dust free environment. Tailstock spindle acting in close tolerance & super finish bore. All rotating parts are dynamically balanced. SADDLE: The 'V' Guideways running on the bed and the slides are most accurately hand scrapped and accurately aligned with the bed and the headstock. The saddle is fitted with 'Hand' & 'Automatic' traverse along the bed with steek Rack and Pinion.
TOOL-POST: Is made out of one piece steel block and can hold four diffrent tools at a time. It can also be swivelled to any desired angle.
APRON: The apron gives movement to the saddle for screw cutting, sliding and surfacing by means of enclosed gears and half nut. All Gears are of steel.
TAILSTOCK: The Tailstock is designed to give maximum strength. It has long beaaring within the barrel and ensures true alignment.
THREE SPEED GEAR BOX: The Three speed Gear Box is provided with the Lathe to obtain coarse, medium and fine cutting ranges, both longitudnal and cross on the feed bar through gears. The leadscrew with accurate threads is to be used only for thread cutting and can be engaged or disengaged with a handle provided on the Gear box while the other handle is for obtaining the desired three speeds.
