We offer fin tubes in various types as mentioned below:

Crimped Type & Root Soldered Fin Tube: - Our range of Crimped Type & Root Soldered Fin Tube is wound on tubes and tack welded at ends and can also be supplied where base of the fins are soldered to the tubes for better bonding.  The fin tubes can also be manufactured with tubes of copper, copper-nickel, admiralty / aluminium brass and fin material of copper, aluminium & M.S. wound around it.

Low or Integral Fin Tubes

We are also offering a wide range of Low or Integral Fin Tubes, which is widely demanded in various industrial applications and are useful in shell & tube exchangers.  Our range is available in the sizes of 5/8to 1OD and thickness of 0.635 mm.

Some of the conditions when shell & tube exchanger can be used:

• When the tube side fluid is water or condensing steam. Here the low fins improve efficiency by offering both a larger area and also by breaking the film of the condensate allowing it to drip off
• When the shell side resistance to heat transfer is greater than roughly two times the resistance on the tube side
• When shell side fouling is severe
• When the shell fluid is a vapor

Block Fin Coils/ Flat Fin Coils

Our range of wire wound fin tubes is equipped with wire loops wound which is solder bonded to the external surface of a round tube. Advantages of Wire Wound Fin Tubes:

• Wire wound fin tubes have the highest heat transfer co-efficient for same area under identical process condition compared with any other type of fin tubes
• The soldered bond between the fin and the tube eliminates almost all air gaps between the loops (fins) and the base tube which enables in maximum heat flow between the fin and the tube
• For identical duty, the above makes it possible to design a heat exchange unit smaller in size compared with any other type of fin tubes resulting in lower air side pressure drop.
• Lower overall pressure drops enables higher air velocities thereby increasing the turbulence around the wire, which not only enhances the heat transfer coefficient but also reduces the settling of dirt over the fins
• Wire wound fin tubes offer a versatility and flexibility which is unmatched by any other type of fin tubes
