User Interface

Stylish and robust compact panel with simple 5-button keypad
control of all functions.

Power, fire and fault LED indicators together with integral piezo
buzzer for comprehensive on-board fire or fault indication.
Detection/Alarm Capacity

A maximum of 20 detectors per zone. End-of-line monitoring
devices are supplied as standard (active end of line modules:-
EOLM-1).

Up to 20 other Bi Wire devices per zone circuit (sounders,
beacons, relays).

Zone circuits are monitored for open and short-circuit as well
as detector removal.

System Functionality

Supervisor mode facility - protected by 4-digit security code to
prevent unauthorised use, providing access to:-

Test mode facility, where a ‘one-shot’ test can be initiated by
the end user. When in operation, the end user has a short
period of time in which to activate a call point, after which the
system automatically resets and returns to normal mode.

Commissioning walk test feature which permits the system
to be easily tested after installation and prior to handover.
The panel automatically resets and returns to normal
operation after a detection device has been tested. Each
device can then be tested in turn via the same procedure.

Disable facility, to disable the following for maintenance:-

• Each detection zone independently
• Alarm circuits
• Fire/fault output
• Battery high & low voltage alarm monitoring
• Temperature compensation charger

The 4 and 8-zone panels also have the following features:-

• Non latching zones – enabling direct interconnection
  of panels
• Alarm output delay (presets of between 30 seconds and
  2 minutes can be set). Any call point activation overrides
• Pulsed alarm output facility
• Double knock facility

Circuit protection is by maintenance-free poly switch
devices instead of fuses (except on auxiliary contacts).
These reset when the fault is cleared, reducing maintenance
time and costs.
