EWDS (Egemin Warehousing & Distribution Solutions:-Is the proprietary solution from EGEMIN of Belgium. EWDS combines Egemin Automation’s logistic solutions for warehousing and distribution. Our comprehensive E’wds ® product line comprises logistic installations like Automated Storage & Retrieval System [AS/RS ] ,Crane systems (E’car®), conveyor systems (E’con) and sorting systems (E’sort) with appropriate controls and visualization (Scada).
Each logistic installation can be entirely controlled and managed by our higher-level in-house developed software, in particular E’wms® (Egemin Warehouse Management System) and E’wcs (Egemin Warehouse Control System). Both programs have a standard interface to the lower-level automated transport and storage systems.
E’wds helps you considerably increase your storage and picking efficiency. We use storage concepts like goods-to-man and man-to-goods, combine these with a large variety of picking methodologies like zone picking, batch picking, combi and single order picking and support them by systems such as pick-to-light, pick-to-voice, RF terminals, RF ID, etc. Egemin Automation always offers you the solution best suited to your needs.
