Constructional Features Gears

Gears & Pinions are helical type and designed to transmit high torque and power with smooth running under all types of operating conditions. These are manufactured out of high grade alloys steels, case hardened to get the maximum core strength and wear resistance. The high speed train is profile ground to ensure smooth, noise free running and checked to be free from all possible defects and errors.

Gear Housing:

The housing and end covers are designed for high ruggedness and made out of Cast Iron grade FG200. Gear cases are machined on latest CNC machines for optimum accuracies.

Bearings:

Anti friction Bearings like Ball/Cylindrical/Taper roller bearings are used to take care of radial & thrust loads are selected to give increased bearing life.

Electric Motor:

Standard electric motor will be 3 phase-AC-TEFC-415V-50 Hz-Class F insulation-C Flange with standard shaft extensions. Other specifications like non-standard Voltages, Frequencies and Insulation & Ambient are offered on request.

Lubrication:

The lubrication of Gears & Bearings is foolproof, being achieved by splash of oil. Oil fill cum Breather plug, oil drain plug & Oil level Indicator are so placed that they are interchangeable depending on mounting position. The specified oils are as follows:
