As of 1st of July, Cray Valley is becoming the trademark of only one of its former activities, HSC.
The Composites business, formerly Cray Valley and Cook Composites & Polymers mainly, now comes under the name of CCP Composites.
These activities remain within Total group.
Our businesses of resins and additives for Coatings, formerly Cray Valley and Cook Composites & Polymers, and photocure resins of Sartomer are now marketed by Arkema which has acquired these activities worlwide.
You will still find information on CCP Composites and on Cray Valley HSC on this site untill dedicated websites are developped. |

Total announces Plan to Sell Specialty Chemicals'Photocure and Coatings Resins Assets to Arkema.
The assets to be divested include Cray Valley and Cook Composites & Polylmers (CCP) coatings resins business and Sartomer's photocure resins businesses, which together employ nearly 1,750 people in 13 countries.
2. Cray Valley exits Colophony Thursday, 25 March 2010
his business produced some 8000 tons in 2009.
Sant Celoni will continue to produce colophony-based resins on behalf of Respol until the end of August.
“Colophony processing was not part of our core business”, explains Charles-Henri Robert, Director Hydrocarbon Specialty Chemicals.
Miquel Amat, General Manager of Cray Valley Iberica, emphasizes “the willingness of the Company to offer alternative positions on the Sant Celoni site to most of the employees concerned”.
3. Daniel Grasset appointed President, Total Resins Wednesday, 06 January 2010
Daniel Grasset, 60, graduated from Ecole Nationale des Arts et Métiers’ engineering school and joined the Group in December 1974 as a process engineer.
In 1983, he was appointed Vice President, Specialty Polyethylene Production at CdF Chimie. From 1988 to 1992, he was General Manager of Orkem’s Resins’ Drocourt plant.
