Quality Policy / ProcessesAchieving top-quality products with consistent quality and total reliability is the key objective of CRI technical department. Quality is the cornerstone of all manufacturing processes and, as such, is the first priority and the focus of the organisation. Quality and uniformity are monitored continually throughout the production process. Samples are constantly tested both for consistency and writing performance. CRI utilise sophisticated control mechanisms and equipment to ensure that the tips meet all quality criteria without deviation. Testing procedures are applied both 'in-line' and at random, according to international standards. As a final control, production is tested for visual, dimensional and writing performance. All CRI packaging carries information regarding the type of product, specification, traceable batch number and precise quantity. The distinctive CRI logo and seal of authenticity ensures that our customers are receiving genuine CRI parts as ordered. We frequently review and update our quality procedures and use the latest technology to ensure that our production is totally reliable.
Manufacturing FacilitiesManufacturing is at the heart of our company; our highly skilled engineers dedicate their efforts to providing excellent quality, prompt and efficient order management and above, all outstanding service. Our technical staff monitor production and oversee quality control procedures to ensure that the tips produced are of a consistently high quality and perform to the precise requirements of our customers. We operate a purpose-built facility based in Ahmedabad in the west of the country. Meanwhile, CRI head office and principal manufacturing facility is based in Kolkata (Calcutta) in the east. The two factories are equipped with the most technologically advanced machines and are constantly updated to reflect emerging technology. We use fully automatic Swiss engineered rotary transfer machines. At CRI we believe that the best technology is the key to providing top-quality investment in new machines, all of which will be state-of-the-art machines.
