Profile
Good ventilation system can be a secret of success to any industry as it plays an important role in enhancing worker's efficiency & productivity. But providing good ventilation system in industrial sector becomes costly affair as it involves huge investment, energy consumption & recurring expenditure on maintenance.

However, present ventilation system that we come across in our industries has their own drawbacks. While passive & ridge ventilation systems suffers from lack of efficiency, motorised system proved very expensive due to their energy consumption and recurring expenditure.

Our inception in 1998 "Cross Vent Concept" (CVC) geared up to focus on 100% non-conventional method of ventilation system that provides effective exhaust facility at 24 hrs and 365 days without break.

In result today we have world's No.1 "DENKO-WIND TURBINE AIR VENTILATORS" in our hand to ensure effective exhaust of Heat, Humidity, Fumes, Odour, Dust, Smoke and many more invisible industrial emissions / irritants from the covered area at no electricity, no motor & no maintenance. Revolutionary performance of the Denko Wind Turbine Air-Ventilators are globally accepted & acknowledged by millions of people.

Quality is a key matter on which we do not compromise. Our dedicated and result oriented team of professionals are under strict guidelines of M/s.Turbine Ventilation Systems Pvt. Ltd., Sri Lanka. Cross Vent Concept (CVC) has strong commitment to offer international quality at Indian price & service using only the world's most advanced technologies. Our skilled labour & service oriented staff are involved in maintaining high quality standards throughout the company from research and development and manufacturing departments to administrative and commercial sections.

Our Products
Denko" Wind Turbine Ventilator
Wind Turbine Ventilator, Cool Breeze Air Conditioner
  • The Turbine Ventilator operates by harnessing the full velocity energy of the wind to include and Air Flow by centrifugal action. Because the double-curved vanes are lightweight and dynamically balanced, even a slight breeze will spin the ventilator.
  • When the Ventilator rotates, a centrifugal force is created, which then draws the air in the ventilator towards the spinning vanes and out of the ventilator.
  • As the Ventilator rotates, the double-curved vanes act as cups that catch the wind at the windward side of the ventilator. Simultaneously, air is forced out at the leeward side creating a continuous Air Flow. Thus giving rise to ventilation.
  • When air is drawn out of the ventilator, a region of low pressure is created directly under the ventilator relative to the other areas in the building.
  • As there is a difference in air pressure, air from higher-pressure regions will naturally move towards the lower pressure regions to maintain a state of equilibrium.
  • Air drawn out by the ventilators is continuously replaced by fresh air from outside the building. Therefore, it is important to have intake of about 150% or more of the overall exhaust opening of the building.
  • Since the Ventilator is rotating continuously, this airflow is also continuous, resulting in effective ventilation.

At what wind speed will "Denko" Wind Turbine Ventilator rotate ?
  • The Lightness of the Ventilator (less than 1.6kg) Teflon impregnated stainless steel ball bearing, double curved vanes and patented free floating effect.
Hence it will rotate for an extremely low wind velocity of 2 kmph.
  • The Special feature of "Denko" Wind Turbine Ventilator is 26 double-curved vanes with openings between them.
  • When there is no wind, ventilation still takes place as hot air continues to escape through the openings of the Ventilator.
  • This rising hot air is knows as 'Stack Effect'.
  • When the Stack effect is sufficiently high, the corkscrew movement of hot air pushes the vanes as it escapes through the openings and sets the Ventilator into motion, making it rotate..

At what temperature difference between the internal and external environment will the 'stack effect' be sufficient to turn "Denko" Wind Turbine Ventilator ?
  • The minimum temperature differential that is sufficient to build up the 'stack effect' to turn "Denko" Wind Turbine Ventilator at a height of between 25-35 feet is about (50 F or 3 degrees C)

Wind Turbine Ventilator, Cool Breeze Air Conditioner
Is the 16" diameter "DENKO" TURBINE VENTILATOR too small for industrial usage ?
  • The most important factor in determining the effectiveness of wind driven rotary or turbine ventilators is the weight of the ventilator. This is because the weight of the ventilator determines the minimum wind velocity for it to operate.
  • A Ventilator cannot effectively ventilate a building when it is not rotating.
  • With a 16" neck size, the turbine is kept at an optimum weight of less than 1.6 kg, enabling it to rotate at a minimum wind velocity of 2 kmph or by the 'Stack Effect' at a temperature difference of 3 degrees C.
  • This means that the "Denko" Turbine Ventilator has a much higher effective ratio as compared to turbine ventilators with much larger neck sizes and a neck size means greater weight.
Cool Breeze Air Conditioner
Cool Breeze is the smart choice for top air conditioning performance and the best value for money system around. Cool Breeze range of units are available in Down, Side and Top Discharge models. Their simplicity and versatility allows them to be installed almost anywhere, and in any application. They may be discharged directly into areas to be cooled due to their fan noise.
Wind Turbine Ventilator, Cool Breeze Air Conditioner

Down Discharge: Down discharge systems are usually roof mounted, and suitable for both ducted and plenum applications. They represent a very cost effective solution to a cooling problem. A 550mm x 550mm dropper duct serves as both mounting bracket and air distributor.

Top Discharge: Top discharge unit's suit applications where convenient access to a floor mounted air conditioning unit is important, or where the installation requires it.

Side Discharge: Side discharge system may be either wall or floor mounted and are suitable for discharging into a wall register. They may also be ducted into a ceiling cavity, depending on the application. Sound attenuation may be required for a single wall register application.

Commercial Air Mobile: The commercial Air Mobile evaporative air conditioner is a heavy duty model unit which has many practical applications.

Simple to use: It's easy-plug it into a standard electrical wall outlet and connect to a water supply with a fixed hose connection. If a water outlet is not available, the Cool Breeze Mobile can be filled manually with a hose.

Lower Maintenance: Reduced maintenance means lower costs, longer life. Always ready to cool when required.

Water Manager*
Cool Breeze systems Have a Water Management system Installed as Standard. We believe that a Auto Drain and Clean Water system is a vital and necessary part of every air conditioning system, unlike some of our competitors who offer it as an optional extra. (*not mobile unit)

  • Clean and Dry Tank: When your system is switched off, all water is drained from the tank. This means no mouldy smells or stale water.
  • Uses Less Water: Unlike bleed-off systems which continually drain water in order to maintain water purity, the Cool Breeze Water Manager effectively minimizes water usage by only diluting and replacing the water in the base when necessary.
  • Cooled Air: Cleaner pads and cleaner water means higher saturation efficiency and therefore cooler air.
  • Drain Valve: The heart of the cool Breeze Water Management system is our very own unique patented Drain Valve. Using the simple counterweight principle of a tank of water and leverage to open and close the valve, we feel that our drain valve almost last forever. There is virtually nothing to break or wear. Unlike some of our competitors who use electric motors, solenoid valves and complex pressure systems, the design simplicity and reliability of our system is a first in our industry. The best ideas are usually the simplest.
