The Euro Series Ionization smoke Detector has a moulded Fire retardant grade plastic case with wind resistant smoke inlets. The smoke detector senses both visible and invisible smoke particles of combustion with early response to fires in the incipient stage.The built in LED flashes every 8 seconds to indicate the healthy function of the Detector.
The Ionization Chamber system is an inner reference chamber contained inside and an outer smoke sensing chamber. These chambers are placed in series, the outer chamber in contact with the atmosphere. When smoke reaches the smoke sensing chamber, the potential at the junction of the chambers change which cause the Detector to change in to the Alarm state. The built in flashing LED goes into the Steady state, Which indicates the Fire Condition.

The Euro Series Heat Detector has a moulded Fire retardant grade plastic case with Fire resistant heat inlets. Heat Detector has the two function of Rise Temperature and Fixed Temperature.Heat Detector contains pair of negative Temperature coefficient thermistors. One thermistor is exposed to the surrounding air and responds quickly to changes in air temperature. The other thermistor is insulated from the surrounding air and responds slowly.
When the air temperature increases rapidly, the temperature difference develops between the thermistors. The ratio of the resistance of the thermistors is monitored electronically and a fire alarm is initiated if the ratio exceeds a factory preset level;. This feature illustrates the Rate of Rise function of the Detector. When the air temperature increases slowly, the two thermistors reduced its resistance to a predetermined value, then the fixed resistance will initiate a Fire alarm. This feature illustrate the fixed temperature function of the Detector.
Applications : Fumes from burning alcohol and other clear burning liquids. Suitable for surveillance of premises where fire risks spreading quickly. Applicable whenever the level of ambient smoke, dust or fumes produced by a process may cause unwanted alarms from smoke Detectors.
