A keyboard can be made using any shade of colour as per the sample of colour shade provided by the customer. But it is advisable to use primary colour, because when the keyboards are ordered in batches it may be difficult to obtain the same shade of colour used previously. Also use of minimum colour is recommended to maintain the colour harmony of the keyboard and to make it cost effective. The use of maximum three to four colours in combination can provide magnificent aesthetic effects.

POLYCARBONATE is mostly used for printing of keyboard overlays, where requirement for chemical resistance and mechanical strength is not very stringent. We recommend POLYESTER based material for overlay, where high chemical resistance and mechanical strength is required.

We can supply any type of connector, which can be soldered on a PCB. A range of different types of connectors like low cost Relimate connector, FRC, Bergstrip connector etc is available.

For LED display, a transparent window is provided. It is also possible to provide mounting screws on the keyboard for mounting of LED display. For LED display, there is an option between a clear window or a coloured window. Most commonly used colours for the coloured window are Red and Green.

We can provide ESD EMI shielding on keyboard to protect sensitive circuits from electromagnetic interference & electrostatic discharge. We can also provide additional protection to keyboards if they are to be used in conditions of extreme temperature & humidity.

We can offer keyboards of various thickness depending upon the PCB thickness used. PCB’s are available in varying thickness such as 0.8mm, 1.6mm and 2.4mm. We can use a suitable thickness depending upon the requirement of the customer. We offer sticking type of keyboards as well as mounting type. For a mounting type of keyboard, screws and studs of various are available.
