The Shaft Mounted Planetary comprises of two stage helical reduction stages at output and input reduction with standard planetary. Simple planetary consist of a sun gear, planet and ring gear. Planets are combined with the planet carrier rotate at constant centers about the planet carrier. The input is from the sun gear and the drive motion to the planet carrier is via the planet gears. The rolling contact of the planet gears with the ring gear provides the appropriate reduction ratio. Multistage gearboxes are available by connecting the individual stages in sequence. We are able to offer suitable drive concepts to match a wide variety of applications Salient Features The Elevator Drive units are of substantial construction combining rigidity with compactness in uni-cast casing made from close grained cast iron. The Gear box unit is of worm gear type which gives, large speed reduction in smaller space, also it?s operation is quiet. The Input and Output shafts are arranged at right angle. The centrifugally cast phosphor bronze worm wheel and case hardened, thread ground high alloy steel worm are combined with the minimum back-lash to cater for passenger lifts. The output shaft is manufactured from high tensile alloy steel to transmit large torque. The self-locking phenomenon of the worm gears at desired ratio ensures absolute safety of the lift unit. The unit consists of TEFC, S4 duty induction motor with cage rotor to ensure high starting torque, low starting current and smooth acceleration characteristics, essentially required in lift duty application. These flange mounted motors are meant for intermittent periodic duty with starting and ensure silent running and long operating life. TEFC type of enclosure enhances ventilation and considerably reduces heat generation. The Output Shaft is supported in sleeve bearings on both sides. In addition taper roller bearings are used to take thrust loads. Thus giving more rigid construction to take large loads as compared to cantilever type of output.

Operating Principle Cycloidal drive consists of a cycloidal disc, driven by an eccentric which rolls around inside housing rollers. The disc thus rotates with reduced speed in the opposite direction to the eccentric and giving 100% positive transmission with a high efficiency. The use of roller bearings guarantees pure rolling transmission without significant friction losses. Cyclo Torque Limiters provide accurate reliable overload protection for all types of machinery and equipments with thousands of different applications. These versatile units are available in single or multiple positions, free wheeling and torque sensing models. Cyclo Torque Limiters have manual or automatic reengagement and an unique method for setting the overload torque which makes adjustment both accurate and easy. Cyclo Torque Limiters having torque capacity 12000 Nm with pilot bores from 7 to 150mm with the widest variety of mounting arrangements.
