About the Owner Sanjay Desai, a gemologist from the internationally renowned diamond exporting city of Mumbai, founded Devanshi Jewels in 2003 in Colorado. While Mr. Desai manages the business operations in the US Mr. Amrute applies his considerable technical knowledge and passion for flawless production to directing all phases of jewelry design and manufacture. In the diamond markets of Mumbai, Mr. Desai is known for his keen eye for quality with just his eyes, he is able to determine the color, clarity and quality of a stone,and he has no tolerance for flaws. Mr. Desai has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of the jewelry business overseeing the transformation of rough gems into luxury jewelry for discriminating buyers. Because he understands gems and the jewelry industry so thoroughly, Mr. Desai can work with customers to determine the finest product to meet their budgets.
