The outlet can also be utilised as a steam Condensate drain or as a divert port.The valve has been modified to accept a third port of the same diameter or smaller, positioned adjacent to the weir at the bottom oh the valve. | Cartridge Filter Housing Cartridge filter housing are essentials end filters, to get a super clarity & extra sparkle to water that is already filtered by a conventional sand filter. Very fine suspended impurities, colloidal matter, chlorine traces sand particles etc. which escape untrapped in sand filter, are easily separated in these filters. WORKING Water is admitted in the fitter, chamber as indicated & surrounds all cartridges .Through very fine apertures of cartridges, it seeps into the interior of each cartridge & then descends down to collecting chamber, from which it goes out. It is necessary to clean the cartridges of the accumulated impurities after certain interval of time. | U.V System (Ultra -violet) UV system lie just beyond the visible light band on the shorter wavelength end of the electromagnetic spectrum. The high- energy UV-C ray wavelengths ranges between 200 nm and 280 nm (1 nm= 10-9 m). These rays particularly the 253.7 nm wavelength, have the singular ability to kill all microorganisms upon contact . The destructive UV rays strike and enter the body of a germ – bacteria, viruses, yeast, algae and certain protozoa. Once inside, the rays are absorbed by the organism DNA. This kills it at once.It is the simple and swift action that has made UV disinfection the world’s most effective and most economical method of obtaining germ – free water for a wide range of end – uses. Since no chemicals are required, there are no hazards of storage and over – dosage of toxic and corrosive chemicals. This raises the safety level considerably. What’s more, the UV rays leave water in its natural state – without causing any change in its color, smell, taste, temperature, pH level and mineral contents. That’s why UV disinfection is so universally popular.The UV units are built with high efficiently UV lamps surrounded by Quartz glass sleeves to isolate the bulbs from water contact preventing thermal shock, glass breakage & mercury contamination. The sleeves also ensure very high transmission of UV energy with lesser losses. The bulb with sleeve is accommodated in precision engineered SS vessel. A wiper assembly is provided for periodic cleaning of Quartz glass from 1500 lph model onwards. An Electronic Ballast operating on 230 V, single phase, 50 Hz AC triggers the UV bulb and ensures minimum power consumption. | Food Grade Hoses/Bellows Stainless steel corrugated flexible hoses are offered from 6 mm (1/4’ ) to 300 mm (12’). The annular corrugated food grade hose body provides the flexibility and pressure tight core of the assembly.Unbraided corrugated hoses tend to elongate when pressurized above a certain level. To restrain this, an external layer of stainless steel wire braiding is provided on the hose. Braiding prevent longitudinal expansion of corrugated hose and thus increases the internal pressure strength of the hose many fold. Braiding is highly flexible and exactly follows the movements of the hose. Unless specified, braiding in stainless steel AISI 304 wire will be supplied , braiding can also be supplied in copper.
