About Us

1980Databyte was founded in 1981 by a group of highly qualified and experienced professionals from I.I.T, T.I.F.R and B.A.R.C with the explicit purpose of providing quality equipment backed up by quality service. Our Chairman Mr. J. K. Gupta Graduated from IIT Delhi in 1970. After spending one year at Babha Atomic Research Centre he moved to Computer Group of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. He was engaged in development in computers at TIFR for over 8 years. Two of the important projects he worked on were ADHS (Automatic Data Handling System) for Indian Air Force, MONEX (Monsoon Experiment) for Indian Metrological Deptt. Our Executive Director: Mrs. S. J. Gupta Graduated with a Gold Medal in Electronics & Telecommunications, from College of Engineering , Pune in 1970. Her rich experience includes, six years of development work in Electronics at Babha Atomic Research Center. Four years of Project Management at Power Projects Engineering Division of Atomic Energy Commission.
