Scientific Digital Services Private Limited renamed as Datapage Digital Services Private Limited
Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India – August 2, 2010 Scientific Digital Services Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Datapage International Limited, has now been renamed as Datapage Digital Services Private Limited. The move is aimed at retaining a unified and vivid brand identity, and marketing several types of services under one common name/brand. The statutory and approval formalities have now been completed and the subsidiary company located in Coimbatore will henceforth be known as Datapage Digital Services Private Limited. Further to this, the website www.scientificdigitalservices.org will also be merged with the main company website www.datapage.ie.

Tamilnadu IT Minister And Rural Industries Minister Launch Scientific Digital Services (SDS)
Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India – September 22, 2009 Scientific Digital Services Private Limited was today launched by the IT minister of Tamil Nadu, Dr. Poongothai Aladi Aruna. The company announced an investment of about one million dollars to establish operations in Coimbatore. The investment is supported by directors of the Datapage Group of companies; an international group that provides typesetting and prepress services to the world's leading scientific, medical, legal and professional publishers. Already 40 staff has been employed by SDS and this is expected to rise to 600 over a 3/5 year period.
SDS will provide text extraction and desk top publishing (DTP) services to the worldwide globalization and localization industry.
The Datapage Group (www.datapage.ie) was founded in 1985 in Dublin, Ireland. In 2003 it established Datapage India Private Limited in Chennai, Tamil Nadu where it employs 200 skilled staff.
After rigorous analysis SDS decided to locate in Coimbatore because of the availability of highly educated and talented young people and the opportunity to locate at Rathinam Techzone.
