DCAP's efforts and initiatives are focused on two broad thematic areas :
Environment and Ecology. It offers solar energy products, renewable energy products, alternative energy products, non conventional energy products. The objectives of this program are:
To implement appropriate programmes for rejuvenation, conservation,
development and management of environmental resources including land,
forest and water for addressing environmental sustainability,
livelihood security and economic development in urban and rural areas
of India.
Disseminate and share the results of best practices at local, regional, national and international levels.
Governance:
The objective of this program is to develop and promote appropriate
governance frameworks for environmental resources in partnership with
local communities, local governance institutions, national and regional
governments and other stakeholders.
