About Us

DCiEra (pronounced dee-see-yera) is an engineering solutions company focused on safety, reliability, energy efficiency and renewable energy in all kinds of facilities including office buildings, data centers, plants and industries, commercial complexes and healthcare facilities. We offer a full range of services and solutions towards this purpose.

We attack multiple infrastructures in a facility to deliver extreme energy efficiency. Target infrastructures include electrical, mechanical, thermal and information technology (IT).

At DCiEra, however, we recognize energy efficiency is the end game in these infrastructures. That is, even though highly desirable, energy optimization takes on lesser importance for facility managers and engineers faced with safety and reliability concerns.

The interesting linkage is that often safety and reliability measures impact energy efficiency. If evaluated carefully, safety and reliability measures can make incremental contributions to energy efficiency. For example, if a cable is overheating or burnt, it is most likely undersized for the current flowing through it. To eliminate the problem and, therefore, enhance safety and reliability, the cable must be replaced with an appropriately sized one. If at this time, consideration is also given to cable losses, a bigger size conductor can be installed along with PF-correction measures at the load end to enhance energy efficiency simultaneously.
