How it works:

Belt bucket elevators are vertically up conveyor outfitted with buckets on belt moving in vertically closed path between two pulleys. Using gravity and centrifugal actions, the material is picked up at the bottom and discharged at the upper end. The elevator is basically of two types including centrifugal discharge or continuous discharge.

During the cane crushing season, the boiler receives the bagasse directly from the mill, and the surplus bagasse is taken to the bagasse storage yard.
this is done with the help of main bagasse carrier (MBC).
