DEMECH valves are designed specifically for long life in Handling abrasive materials while maintaining a positive seal against pressure and vacuum in dust collectors and other process equipment. Rotary air locks, by design, have leakage. When handling abrasive products, the air leakage increases rapidly due to the wiping, sweeping or scraping action that occurs during operation. DEMECH valves have a “Perpendicular” seating action that minimizes wear. Demech's sophisticated modern plant at Baramati with state of the art machinery was commissioned in November 1 996, with plant capacity to produce Spiral Welded Pipes up to 12000 Tons per annum. Spiral Welded Pipes are manufactured from hot rolled mild steel coils using the latest state of the art technology by continuous process consisting of spiral forming in a special pipe forming cage and automatic submerged arc welding followed by plasma-cutting, hydro-testing, non - destructive testing and inspection etc.

  • Any diameter from 14" (356 mm) to 72" (1800mm).

  • Wall thickness 5mm to 14mm.

  • Any length unto 1 2 meters.

  • Mild steel / Carbon steel /Stainless steel.

Manufactured in shapes like Tiles, Pipes and Special Shapes by Static Casting in Moulds or by Centrifugal Casting at a temperature about 1300 °C.
Heat-treated to re-crystallize in the annealing furnace.

The end product acquires a hardness of 8 MOH's and Abrasion Resistant Properties.

Bare Cast Basalt Pipes of 500mm length are joined together and grouted in Metal Casings. These Pipes find application in the Power, Cement, Steel, Ore-Dressing and Chemical Industries for Hydraulic and Pneumatic Transport Of Abrasive Material.
