DEMECH valves are designed specifically for long life in Handling abrasive materials while maintaining a positive seal against pressure and vacuum in dust collectors and other process equipment. Rotary air locks, by design, have leakage. When handling abrasive products, the air leakage increases rapidly due to the wiping, sweeping or scraping action that occurs during operation. DEMECH valves have a “Perpendicular” seating action that minimizes wear. Consequently they can handle abrasive products, highly differential pressures and high temp. with an absolute minimum of leakage.

the feeder ejector has been developed to slurrify fly ash from eco, aph & esp hoppers. The high pressure water jet slurrifies the fly ash and discharges it into the sluice way.

Demech's sophisticated modern plant at Baramati with state of the art machinery was commissioned in November 1 996, with plant capacity to produce Spiral Welded Pipes up to 12000 Tons per annum. Spiral Welded Pipes are manufactured from hot rolled mild steel coils using the latest state of the art technology by continuous process consisting of spiral forming in a special pipe forming cage and automatic submerged arc welding followed by plasma-cutting, hydro-testing, non - destructive testing and inspection etc.

Specification:

• Any diameter from 14" (356 mm) to 72" (1800mm).

• Wall thickness 5mm to 14mm.

• Any length unto 1 2 meters.

• Mild steel / Carbon steel /Stainless steel.

• Pipes conforming to IS 3589 or equivalent standards.

Manufactured in shapes like Tiles, Pipes and Special Shapes by Static Casting in Moulds or by Centrifugal Casting at a temperature about 1300 °C.
Heat-treated to re-crystallize in the annealing furnace.

The end product acquires a hardness of 8 MOH's and Abrasion Resistant Properties.

Bare Cast Basalt Pipes of 500mm length are joined together and grouted in Metal Casings. These Pipes find application in the Power, Cement, Steel, Ore-Dressing and Chemical Industries for Hydraulic and Pneumatic Transport Of Abrasive Material.

Screw conveyors are manufactured in Carbon / Stainless Steel. Capacity up to 100TPH . Generally screw conveyors are used for handling coal, crushed material, powders, cement, chemicals etc. The conveyors are dust sealed with felt 'o' rings or oil seals . For materials to be handled having higher temperatures, the trough and the central shaft can be cooled by circulating water. Suitable feeding & discharge chutes are provided to avoid bending of shaft.

this is a combination of chain conveyor and elevator. The shape of conveyor resembles a swan neck and can lift materials up to

90^o inclination. Requires minimum supporting structure. U flights are used for en-mass conveying of material. Material moves in any direction – horizontal, vertical, inclined at any angle and minimized transfer points. It is designed to suit one or more feed/ discharge points. Operation is dustless and explosion hazards are minimized.

it is basically a double strand chain conveyor for handling high temperature materials, which are dropped in to water & conveyed

with the chain and flight. The chain strands are submerged in water and moves at low linear speed and conveys the ash to desired locations. Scraper chain conveyor can be rail mounted for easy removal which provides easy access to furnace / boiler. Many wet scrappers have been supplied for handling coal ash, fly ash, slag in steel plant and sponge-iron plants and are working satisfactorily.

scrapper chain conveyors are specifically designed for handling high temperature materials which are quenched and dewatered continuously like coal ash, steel and sponge iron plant dust.

Built for various industries viz. cement, steel, power, textile, chemicals and paper. It operates on the principle of Enmasse Conveying i.e. the bulk material moves in placid, column created by articulated chain link and flight arrangement. Capacity varies from 2TPH to 1000 TPH. Length covered will be 5mtrs to 50mtrs.

Fabricated buckets are mounted either on chain or belt.

The casing material can be selected to suit the service conditions. Intermediate section and discharge spout is provided at bottom of elevator to adjust the tension / bucket. Screw type take up device is provided. The casing is provided with an inspection window. The clean out door at the boot section is provided to remove any material from the bottom for maintenance.

demech manufactures high alumina ceramic from high purity, fine grain aluminum oxide (al2o3). The necessary forming is done in its pre-sintered phase. Then products are sintered in a kiln at a temperature about 1450 °c.

the resulting products are dense, durable and wear resistant having hardness of 9 moh.

DEMECH is the leading manufacturers of coal feeders. The coal feeders have been used to feed coal to pulverizing mills in power stations and other industrial applications. The general layout of a coal fired power station incorporates large capacity coal storage bunkers above the pulverizing mills. Each bunker has a coal feeder to feed & remove the mills and discharges the raw coal to the mills, where it is pulverized before being blown into the furnaces. The feeder discharge rate modulates in accordance with the demand signal from the boiler control system.

WEAR RESIST PLATE is manufactured by a unique patented process developed indigenously by which a heavy layer of highly wear resistant carbide is deposited on to a mild steel base. Very hard carbides are suspended in a tough wear resistant matrix. It is a concentration of the carbide structure that gives WEAR RESIST PLATE its unique wear resist characteristics.

Ceramic reinforced epoxy, which provides a High Gloss, Low Friction coating giving protection against turbulence, abrasion and cavitations. Useful for repairing Cooling Pump Impellers, Butterfly Valves, Cavitations. Resurfacing and Repairing Heat Exchangers, Condensers, Conveyor Pulleys.

CERACOAT is a chemically bonded, fiber reinforced ceramic compound applied in the form of monolithic layer. It is easy to apply and can be applied in pipes and bends or plain surfaces giving quick solution to wear problems. CERACOAT can be applicable for temperatures up to 300 °C.

Ceracoat 20 is suitable for straight pipes, straight ducts.

Ceracoat 30 is suitable for bends and elbows ( High Wear Applications ).

DERINCOAT is a volume of castables packed by fine sized particles to reach porosity below 10%. Having good crushing strength and fracture toughness, the possibility of cracks is reduced. DERINCOAT possesses higher resistance to damage from abrasion, erosion, thermal shocks, impact and vibration. DERINCOAT can withstand temperatures ranging from 500 °C to 1200 °C.

Ceramic cones deeply embedded in Epoxy Compound giving Resilient, Flexible base to fit plain as well as curved surfaces. Designed for abrasion resistance to protect bins, buckets, chutes and hoppers in bulk material handling. Epoxy Back absorbs energy, reduces noise and vibration. Operating Efficiency is improved by easy installation and replacement.

Silicon Carbide grains bonded by Silicon Nitride matrix formed by reaction bonding. Very high bond strength over wide temperature applications. Maximum operating temperature would be 1500 °C.
Suitable for high temperature applications like Blast Furnace Lining, High Intensity Burner Tips, Nozzles and Blocks, Thermocouple Tubes, Coal Burners, Pulveriser Parts etc.

Super Resist Specially formulated non-sag, two part, ready to mix compound for lining bends, elbows, tees, reducers, laterals, cyclones and intricate surfaces. Successfully used in Mining, Washeries and Power Stations, Trowelable Lining Compound facilitates easy application on complex and intricate shapes at ground level on in situ and easy patch up on worn-out surfaces.

Extremely hard mineral compound with a cold curing epoxy resin binder with blend of aggregates. Developed as jointing material to fill in the gaps between liner surfaces. Wearwell forms bondage between materials like Steel, Concrete, Cast Iron and Cast Basalt etc.
