Industrial Application

Silica is being used in bulk in glass industry, Ferro silicon, Ferro alloys, welding rods, pottery and other industries. It is also used in making silica Ferromanganese alloys.

Paints

In wood finish, primers, undercoat, water based paints, distemper, chemical resistance coating, floor coating etc. Silica is also used in construction chemicals. It is recommended for texture coating and exterior finishing and also used in spray plaster, plastic and rubber.
