Meproche MN 660 SPL

Meproche MH 830

• Meproche MH 830 works efficiently in the temperature range 830° C to 1100° C. It has applications in following:
• Harden 2% carbon, corrosion resisting steels, 12% chromium tool steels and steels used for cutlery
• Alternative to Meproche 970 or 1100 for hot working steels. For it, use of regenerator is recommended.

Meproche Acticator
Its working range is 640 C to 950 C.Its is used to activate  and enable easy absorption of cyanide.It is used for low carbon steel,if used with cyanide,else directly used for medium carbon and high carbon steels.

Meproche MH 970

Our Meproche MH 970 works in the temperature range 970° C to 1350° C. It finds application to heat the high speed and hot working steels for obtaining the desired hardening temperature in the above working range. The heat treatment salt avoids decarburisation and scaling of the steels. Some kinds of the steel show decarburisation during hardening with MH 970. It results into a low surface hardness. In this case, MH 971 is recommended to avoid any decarburisation.

Meproche MH 971

Specifications of Meproche MH 971 include following:

• Used to harden high speed steel and hot working steels with minimum amount of decarburisation

Meproche MH 1100

Meproche MH 1100 is the most superior quality salt with high purity and contains no moisture. It finds application with regenerator to clean the high salt bath. Deoxidizing agent is present in the regenerator reacting and converting the oxide impurities into slag to prevent decarburisation. Meproche MH 1100 works in the temperature range 950° C to 1350° C.

Its a nitriding steel.Works at 570 degree C.It is used for finished components.It doesnot distort the job.The case depth is low.For higher case depth air diffusion in the bath has to be incorporated.

Meproche 155

Meproche 155 is water-soluble and water thinnable synthetic rust preventive. It finds application to protect iron & steels from rusting within  shop and for finished packing. There may be dripping of oil from the components in case of oil type rust preventive.It results into exposure of the top surface and edges causing its rusting.where as in case of Meproche 155 there is no dripping because it dries in 20 min. or so.Its coverage is four times than that of oil type rust preventives.

Meproche 401 Rust Removers

Meproche 401 rust removers is a slightly acidic liquid. It is applied on the rusty surface and is left for 2 to 5 minutes and then wipe out the rust.

Meproche C-21

A two pack type rust convertor obtained by mixing two components Meproche 401 and Meproche C-21 in a ratio of 4:1. It is apply on the rusted surface for four to five hours. By using wire brush, remove the loose scales on the surface. In case of highly pitted surfaces, the operation can be repeated if needed. It converts the rust into protective film.

Meproche  21 (Rust Converter)

Based on polyhydroxy organic compounds, Meproche 21 (Rust Converter) is used to remove old rusty pitted steel surfaces. It converts the most adherent surface into a protective coating. In addition, it also removes surface rust from newly manufactured steel sections. It is supplied in two pack system.

Method of its application:

Mix 50 gms of part Meproche 401 rust removers to 1 kg. of Meproche C-21

• Apply it on the rusted surface
• Leave it for 4 to 6 Hrs
• Remove rust by wire brush
• Repeat the process if necessary

It efficiently converts the balance rust into a passive state to prevent further rusting. It provides a temporary rust-prevention. It can be subsequently painted or lined. There is no need of wire brush operations in case of newly manufactured steel with a very thin rusty surface. Meproche 21 Rust Converter is mildly acidic in nature hence use rubber or polythene while handling it.

Our company is offering quality Meproche C-21 rust convertor, that is based on polyhydroxy organic compounds. It is efficiently used to remove rust from stored steel and old rusted steel already erected (whether in RCC or otherwise). With the chemical Meproche C-21 rust convertor, pitted surfaces can be converted into a protective coat. It is supplied in two packs.

A surface treated with MEPROCHE C 21 accepts primers and paint fast. It increases adherence of primers and paints and thus improves the life of paints. It covers approximately 70/75 square meter per Kg.

Method of application:

• Mix 50 gms of part A to 0.950 kg. of part B
• Apply on the rusted surface and leave it for 4 to 6 Hrs
• Remove rust by wire brush
• Repeat the process if necessary

The chemical converts the balance rust into a passive state thus stop further rusting. It provides temporary solution for rust prevention. It can later be painted or lined. Rubber gloves should be used while handling Meproche rust convertor as it is mildly acidic in nature.

Eproche GS is a formulated compound and is used for electropolishing and deplating of gold and its alloys containing nickel, copper and zinc. The electrostripping or electropolishing is done by readjusting gold molecules on the top surface by action of chemicals by using a machine of nominal cost for supplying 10 to 30 volts DC. along with timers ammeter and voltmeter.

Method Of Use Of Gold Shining Chemicals:

• Dissolve 10 % of Meproche GS Salt in tap water and put it in the bucket of the machine or in a beaker as the case may be.
• The copper/ s. s. hooks of ( ) anode should be attached to the items to be stripped, and cathode (-) can be stainless steel or titanium.
• The bath so prepared should be heated upto 50 to 60ºC. and should be kept at that temperature
  Now pass the DC current for 10/15 seconds of a voltage of 20 / 25V. Remove the articles from anode, rinse and dry - the polishing is complete
• A small amount of agitation is preferred

Working conditions

• T =50/60 degree C
• t  =10 to 15 sec
• V = 20/25 Volts

Meprophos 2614 Z

It is used to produce crystalline zinc phosphate coating obtained as per class A of IS 3618. It is widely used in seven-tank process.

Step One (Degreasing):

If the items to be phosphated have oily layer of grease then its degreasing should be done prior to any process. Various types of degreasing include following:

Alkaline Degreasing:

Following are the steps for alkaline degreasing:

• Dissolve Meproche 245 at a ratio of 5% in water
• Heat upto 80-85°C and dip the parts for 5 to 10 minutes
• It removes industrial soil age, oil and grease and provides dirt free parts.

Test & Replenishment:

Take 10 ml of bath material and titrate against 0.1 N Sulphuric acid, using phenolphthalein as indicator. The pink end point should be between 60-65 ml and if found less add more Meproche 245 @ 0.8 kg per 1000 liters of bath material. It gives rise in pointage (No. of ml of 0.1 N sulphuric acid) and thus maintain the pointage between 60 and 65.

Remove the oil and grease from the top of the bath by skimming, as and when generated

Solution Degreasing:

• Use of Trichloro Ethylene or 1: 1: 1 Trichloro Ethyane or Meproche Chlorosol
• Ultrasonic Vibration is used if the parts are small then to accelerate the degreasing greatly
• Meproche Chlorosol is very effective and cheaper than Tricholoro ethylene and 1:1:1 Trichloro Ethane.

Specifications:

• Dip time = 10 to 15 seconds
• Temperature = RT (or 5 to 10 minutes for DIP type degreasing at room temperature or 5 to 20 minutes at 85° c for vapor degreasing

Step Two (Rinsing): 

Rinse the components in hot/cold running water

Step Three (Pickling):

Following are the steps to be followed in the pickling stage:

• Acid pickling bath should contain 14 to 18% concentration of Hydrocloric acid 18% Conc. from April to September
• Add l litres of Meprolene per 1000 kgs of the bath material.
  

The Meproche 301 SPL is a very effective product for prevention and removal of rust on iron and steel surfaces without requiring precision control of bath. By using Meproche rust remover, our clients can achieve derusting and rust prevention in one attempt.

Method of use:

• Take one part Meproche Rust remover and to it add equal part of water
• In this bath, dip the rusted components for 15 to 20 minutes
• Take the components out and rinse with water
• Dip the components in Meprophos 105 for passivation and let it dry

It is better to remove the dirt, rust and grease from the bath from time to time to avoid contamination of components with oil and grease removed.

Note: This process gives a maximum of 1.6 micron coating as against 7.5 microns of hot zinc phosphating. However, this process is suitable before painting, improves adhesion on the surfaces, and gives higher protection against corrosion.

Meproche Paint Remover GP is a general purpose paint remover. It is widely used in various applications such as synthetic enamels, epoxies, stoving paints and powder paints. However the exact specifications of the substrate and paint should be given for much efficient removal.

Method of application:

By using either brush or dip method, Meproche Paint Remover GP can be applied. The surface after application should be left for five to fifteen minutes. By using a scraper or a wiper cloth, the paint thereafter can be removed. A second treatment can be given in case the paint surface is not removed completely due to human error of application.
