Acidic Ramming Mass (Indram-S)

This is a quartzite based ramming mass for medium / high frequency coreless induction furnace melting various types of ferrous / non ferrous metals. Processing of the raw material is done with modern machineries to avoid any sort of contamination. Tailor made material is manufactured keeping in view the size of the crucible and type of the metal.

Specifications:

  • Grading : 0 - 5 mm [can be changed as per the requirement of customer]
  • Chemical Analysis : SiO2 - 98.6 % min., Fe2O3 - traces, A12O3 - traces
  • Service Temperature : 1750°C
  • Packing : 50 KG new laminated HDPE bags

Basic Ramming Mass (Inductopatch)

Material is to be used for the patching of worn out parts of the crucible. Cracks in the lining can also be filled with the same.

How to use:
Material is to be mixed with 5-6 % 1:1 solution of foundry grade sodium silicate and water. Homogeneous mixing is required to be done. Area to be patched should be neatly dressed off slag for better performance.

Basic Ramming Mass (Ladram)

This is a dunite based ramming mass. Dunite is a natural mineral consisting of forsterite as high as 90 % and above which makes the mineral a good refractory material. It is having high specific gravity and is resistant to slag. Due to good bulk density and higher thermal conductivity comparatively less time is required for preheating thus saving precious fuel / time. Ladles / Hand shanks made with Ladram gives much more life then silica lining.

How to use:
Good compact ramming is required to be done by mixing 4-5 % diluted [ 1:1 ] foundry grade sodium silicate. Special attention at the impact area of the bottom.

Preheating:
Slow preheating is required for first 3-5 hrs. [Depending on the capacity of the ladle]. Thereafter ladle is to be kept in red hot condition atleast for 1 hr.

Chromite Sand

General Description : Crushed, dried and filtered pure form of chrome.

Application :

  • Temperature-loadable mounding sand in foundry
  • Used to harden steel, to manufacture stainless steel and to form alloys
  • Efficient and Cheaper Substitute of Zircon Sand especially for high quality manganese steel

Hot Mix-X (De-Sulphorizer & De-Phosphorizer)

It is used in the induction furnace for the purpose of reducing sulphur & phosphorus. It is proven that by using this chemical the sulphur & phosphorus reduces upto12 to 15 point.

Application:
It is to be mixed in a proportion of 3.5kgs per M.T. of liquid metal and the same is to be mixed in the ladle in proportion of 500gms per M.T. of liquid metal.

Olivine Sand

General Description : Crushed/screened volcanic rock sand. Olivine, a finer sand may be used due to increased permeability and thermal expansion is much lower than silica.
