• There is a grille opening above the which allow air to enter the hood bypassing the sash opening as the sash is lowered.

This concept uses a combination of room air and untreated outside air at constant volume to minimize the cost of exhausted conditioned air.

Variable Air Volume(VAV)

This concept is capable of varying the exhaust air volume in proportion to the hood face opening by either changing the speed of the exhaust blower or by adjusting the damper opening.

Low Constant Volume(LCV)

Most popular & cost effective concept for achieving max. energy saving in AC Labs. Combination type of sash allows to achieve energy saving keeping velocity at desired level.
