Situation:

• At many places rodents are present even at depth of more than one meter below ground level. Unlike human beings the front teeth of rodents grow throughout their life, hence to trim it they chew soft materials like PE & PVC cables, wires, pipes allied polymer products, to keep their their teeth within size. This results in damages to the pipes & the cable in it.
• Bitter plus Master Batch provides the best solution to such problems by incorporating it in a PVC, PE and allied polymer based Pipes & cables to dissuade rodents from chewing it.

Salient Features:

• BITTER+PLUS is a special Anti-Rodent formulation produced using a proprietary compounding technology developed by our technocrats. It has a proven non-toxic additives & special carrier resin to make it compatible with large varieties of polymer like PVC, LDPE, PP, PE, XLPE, HIPS, ABS etc.
• BITTER+PLUS is a non-toxic but extremely pungent tasting material. It causes a spontaneous foul reaction in the rodents when they try to bite/chew the cables/pipes containing the said additives & therefore the rodent leaves the cable/pipe immediately without damaging it.
• The recommended dosage of BITTER+PLUS Universal Master Batch is 0.8-1% in the final product, depending upon product dimension, service condition & life.

Processing Temperatures :

The product is formulated in such a way that it mixes uniformly with the base polymer at their processing temperature. No change in processing condition is required for handling the BITTER+PLUS. For the convenience of the customers it is being supplied in free flow pellets form so that it can be blended easily with the base polymer using common blending/mixing tools used in the plastic industry. However, it is advisable to avoid high-speed mixer. As the dosage of BITTER+PLUS is very little, it does not affect the mechanical/chemical or electrical properties of the finished product.
