The AC operated mains 230V, has all the feature of the LifeDop. The tool has in-built provision to connect the ECG machine, which makes the tool applicable for measuring A.B. Index along with recording the arterial and venous Doppler waveform using external ECG machine. The instrument also has a variant VERSADOP Dx, which has PC connectivity enabled along with having the specialized features of VERSADOP. The software records the waveform and computes the A.B. Index. It also has PC based storage and provides printout on a standard color A4 size printer. However, the model does not record the TOE PPG waveform and pressure.

These currents ‘interfere' with each another to create a beat frequency that the body identifies as a low frequency energy source, which is usually 1–250Hz. The medium frequency currents interchange at 1000–100 000Hz. The low frequency causes high skin resistance and the medium frequency causes low skin resistance.
