Includes Butyl Rubber Tape and Plastic Tape to provide additional moisture protection on exposed and buried connectors and splices. It also prevents loosening of connectors at jumper cable interfaces caused by vibration.

Self-Amalgamating Tape: Butyl rubber, non-adhesive, self-amalgamating highly elastic, non-hardening, waterproof, U.V. resistant. Sizes available in 1.5" to 3" width & 1 to 3 meters length or as per requirement.

PVC Insulation Tape: Provides additional moisture protection and U.V. resistance. Sizes available in 3/4", 1", 2" & 3" width and 10 yards length (as per requirement). Wonder make also available.

The Weather Proofing Kit is recommended to be used in order to protect connectors and jumpers to antenna interfaces from moisture or water ingress, and to avoid loosening of connectors at jumper interfaces caused by vibrations. tincludes a 3.50 meters long self vulcanizing rubber tape which must be wrapped around the connections, then recovered with a PVC tape to resist ultra-violet rays.
