Since the establishment of Discovery Bearing & Co. Pvt. Ltd., we are engaged in manufacturing and supplying of a comprehensive range of bearings for automobiles like two-wheelers and commercial vehicles. Our firm has tied up with M/S Perfect Bearing Center which is providing manufacturing solutions. The products we offer include automobile bearings, industrial bearings, automobile ball bearings, ball bearing, single row deep groove ball bearing, double row deep groove ball bearing, tapered roller bearing, double taper roller bearings and customize bearing. Further, we also provide thrust bearings, cylindrical roller bearings and spherical roller bearings. Material for all Bearings

The range of rolling contact bearing offered by us consists of one or more rings and rolling elements (which directly support the loads) and usually a cage, which keeps the rolling elements at equal intervals. Both rolling and sliding movements occur between these parts.

Bearings Ring and Rolling Elements:

Owing to the high, respective stress to the rolling contact areas, fatigue phenomenon will occur to the bearing material after duration of operation. Thus, loading stress ultimately dislodges a surface section and the bearing fails to delay the advent of material fatigue, bearing ring. The rolling element material should have the following properties:

• High level of hardness
• High rolling contact fatigue resistance
• Good wear resistance
• Dimensional stability
• Good mechanical strength

The standard material for bearing rings and rolling elements is vacuum-degassed, high carbon, and chrome bearing steel. These are ideal for applications requiring a higher degree of reliability, bearing steel using a vacuum-melting process or electro slag solution (ESR).

We procure high grade steel from the market and also use SUJ2 (JIS), for large size bearings, and SUJ2 (JIS), SUJ3 or SUJ5 to strengthen the end product. Further, to achieve impact resistance in the bearing we use SNCM series steel. Besides this, high-speed steel can also be used for bearings for applications requiring tolerance to high temperatures and stainless steel is used for bearings operating in a corrosive atmosphere. Further, keeping in mind special applications we can also use ceramic material in the production.

Material for cages is required to have the following properties:

• Good wear resistance
• Dimensional stability
• Good mechanical strength

The cold-rolled steel is extensively used for pressed cages whereas for high tensile strength brass castings or machined cages polyamide resins are used depending on the type of bearing and the application. Before the selection of cage material, it is important to consider the operating conditions. Thus, polyamide cages should not be used at temperature above 120°C or below -40°C for safety and high functionality.

Our computer controlled manufacturing process ensures that precision to the order of 1/10000 of a millimeter is built into every bearing as per the verified industry standards.
