Our range of Anti-Vibration Pads offers an ideal solution. Made from a combination of high quality rubber polymers and cork, this ideal combination ends up to make up a product that has excellent resistance to ageing, compression set, water & oil. The unique cellular structure of cork ( a cu. cm. of cork is said to contain nearly 45 mm cells) filled up with tiny air pockets, absorbs the vibration caused by the equipment.

These are available in various options of solid cross-ribbed design and with a variety of thicknesses of cork centres. The standard cork centres have a thickness of either 10 mm (3/8") or 38 mm (1.5"). With a special ribbed design of alternate heights, additional vibration isolation is achieved. Slabs are also available of cork and rubber independently.

 

Rubber cork anti-vibro pads are available in sizes of 458 mm x 458 mm (18" x 18") with a thickness of 22 mm (7/8"). Smaller size pads such as 75 mm, 100 mm, 150 mm square are also available. Cork centre thickness can be varied as per customer's specifications.

 

Solid cork slabs of standard dimensions of 600 x 900 mm are also available in a variety of thickness such as 25 mm, 38 mm, 50 mm, 75 mm, 100 mm. Thickness and densities can be varied as per customer's specifications.

Granulated Corks is manufactured in our fully automatic pneumatically controlled plant, ensuring that the exact mesh size and density of granules is obtained. This ensures that the end use of the granulated cork whether it is used in house by us or sold to our customers, will give the desired results at all times.

 

Granulated cork finds its usage in manufacturing composition cork & rubber cork as well as used independently for insulation in cold storage plants, insulation for buildings ensconced between concrete walls and others. It is widely used as a frictional material in brake shoes and moulded clutch plates for the automotive industry.

 

The construction industry finds a large usage in granulated cork. Its usage between concrete layers of walls and roofing's can reduce heat loss by nearly 35 - 50 %. The usage of cork as a natural thermal and acoustic insulator finds wide acceptance. Cork powders of fine mesh find large usage in the linoleum industry as lightweight fillers. Special chemically treated cork powders of extremely fine mesh, finds a large usage in moulding and foundry industry as a mould release agent.

 

Batcork - a specially treated cork powder of extremely fine mesh is extremely popular in the battery plate industry. The cork powder chemically altered by a unique process, which ensures that the molten lead does not stick on to the mould surface.

Rubberised Cork Sheets And Frames are produced from high-grade cork granules specifically selected and mixed with synthetic / natural rubber binders (neoprene, nitrile, SBR or natural). This combines the resilience of rubber with the natural compressibility of cork. Rubber cork is available in various grades for many applications including automotive, control gear, switch gear, electrical transformers and others. Every gasketing application requires material that is best suited to that particular pressure, temperature, media and/or environmental factors.

 

Rubberised cork sheet combines the compressibility of cork with the properties of resilience as well as resistance to mechanical action of rubber. It can be easily bent round sharp corner without cracking. They are strong, flexible and easy to cut and can be used for gaskets even with very narrow borders. The unique cellular structure compresses under pressure and creates a reverse pressure on the restraining forces. This "fight back" is a primary requirement in any good gasket material.

 

Elasticity is particularly important when gaskets are exposed to varying pressure and temperature over long periods of time. Rubber cork retains this elasticity for long periods of time under extreme temperature and liquid immersion conditions. It is available in a wide range of different grades. Apart from the standard size of 610 x 915 mm and 915 x 915 mm, we are able to produce made to order sizes to minimize wastages at customers end. These can be supplied in different lengths and widths, in sheets as well as in rolls.

 

Rubber cork is also available in blocks, which can be used as per your particular production process. We also specialize in manufacturing rubberised cork frames and gaskets in individual sizes.
