The company in a matter of short time expanded its breadth of operations to provide complete turnkey solutions to the domestic Indian pharmaceutical industry.
With five years of experience, expertise and a proven track-record of helping many companies with its turn-key and consulting strengths, Divis Laboratories established its first manufacturing facility in 1995.
Built on a 300 acre site at Hyderabad (Unit-I). the plant comprises of 13 multi-purpose production blocks and has space for further growth and expansion.
Divis Laboratories set up its second manufacturing facility at Visakhapatnam (Unit-II). in the year 2002 on a314 acre site. The site has 7 multi purpose production blocks. |
InfrastructureUnit 1 | Hyderabad Developed on a 500 acre site the Divis Hyderabad manufacturing facility comprises of 13 production buildings Pilot Plant and a kilo lab. The plant consists of around 314 reactors totalling a capacity of 1293 m3.
The production buildings have clearly defined finished product areas for APIs with clean air, purified water systems that operate under full cGMP as per US-FDA guidelines.
The facility was successfully inspected by US-FDA in Feb, 2008(which itself was a third inspection; the first two are in Sept 2000 and April 2004). Unit 2 | Visakhapatnam Divi's Laboratories Limited, Unit-2 plant at Visakhapatnam (also known as Vizag) is located at Chippada Village, about 35 K north of Vizag. The plant is about 1.5 KM away from East Coast of India.
The Unit-2 plant initially started with 4 production blocks with a total capacity of 745 M3 reaction volume in 2003.
-The site stretches on a 314 Acre land and a quarter of the land is covered with good plantation.
-This was operated as a DTA till the year 2006.
-In the year 2006 the DTA unit was converted to 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU). The production capacity was also increased to six blocks with a 1068 M3 reaction volume.
-The built up area comprises of QC, Administration Block, Canteen, Warehouse and several other Non-plant / utility buildings.
-In the month of February, 2010 we received ‘BEST EXPORTER’ award for EOU operations from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
