Happenings / News / Press CoverageAhlhorn, 26.11.09 Dr. D. Müller GmbH has developed a new high-temperature label material based on a white coated polyimide film. The adhesive system is a permanently adhering, age-resistant acrylic adhesive. This new material is an ideal solution for labeling with bar codes on printed circuit board assemblies as well as in manufacturing. The material is solvent resistant and solder bath stable, there are no problems with fluxes and cleaners.The good thermal stability up to 270 ° C is sufficient for the short period that is required in the reflow, infrared or hot-air soldering process. For printing, all major thermal transfer printing systems can be used, such as Zebra, Intermec, Sato, Printronix, NEC, Datamax or Brady. Transfer ribbons are recommended for printing with Sony TR6070. The product is RoHS compliant. The product is available in 0.025 mm and 0.05 mm in thickness.
