Since the time we DNV Auto have established, we have been sincerely engaged in sourcing and supplying various types of machined & sheet metal auto components in India and abroad. Having hands on experience of over 25 years in materials function, we are 24*7 ready to lead & deliver the best results in the field of sourcing of automobile components.
By treating the materials functions as profit centre and monitoring improvement systems implemented, we have achieved desired results in the past . We aim at expanding the business where one is able to develop & procure components at low cost on the basis of one's goodwill without doing any capital investment. All our activities are sincerely headed by Mr. K.K.Rastogi who previously headed materials department in one of joint ventures of MARUTI UDYOG LTD. His leadership guidance has enabled us to meet with each specific demand of the clients.

Our mentor Mr K.K. Rastogi is a judicious and an ardent leader having two and a half decades of experience in the areas of Materials Management and Production Planning with reputed organizations. From September 1989 to February 2003, he worked with Mark Auto Industries Ltd., Gurgaon.as Manager (Materials & MCD). It was a joint venture company Maruti Udyog Ltd. which had a turnover of Rs. 250 crore. He has an in-depth knowledge for:
- Material planning
- Purchasing of production
- Maintenance of consumables, capital items, implementing project schedules executing supply chain management for procurement of bought-out components for ensuring timely completion of production activities to meet delivery targets.
During vendor development, all attention is given on materials and process control to achieve the targeted cost. Each activity takes place under the close guidance of Mr Rastogi. Having knowledge for costing of various manufacturing items, rock bottom negotiation and continuous monitoring system are the major strong points of our leader. In addition to this, he has hands on experience in handling of processes as per ISO-9002, QS-9000 and IS-14002 guidelines, Quality Circle activities, Kaizen and Cross Functional teams. Moreover, he possesses strong communication, man management, analytical and problem-solving skills which extensively help him in the enterprise thus benefiting us through constructive guidance.

Our Brief History |

We started our enterprise in February 2003 and managed the same as business head where we produced machined components mainly for automobile sector and ran business operations. We gained experience and in-depth knowledge in managing various delicate issues like labor, productivity, quality, marketing and finance (including Sales Tax and Accounting etc.). With in short time, we generated profits in the 1st year onwards of operations.
- Monitored operations and maintenance of the major facilities including Heavy Press Shop, Weld Shop, Paint Shop (conveyorised and dip line), Tube Mill (high frequency solid state) and Assembly lines.
- Handled:
- Sourcing of raw materials (indigenous & imported) such as CR / HR sheets, steel tubes, and different grades of steel bar / rod for forged component and also coated sheets / coils for under chassis components.
- Purchase of various production consumables, maintenance spares, paints & chemicals etc.
- Awarding works contracts, AMCs, projects and job-work etc.
- Costing, negotiations and approval of sheet-metal, tubular, forged, cast components, jig-fixtures, etc.
- Aimed at generating cost savings by optimum utilization of resources and process study, change in process, technology, re-negotiation and re-sourcing etc.
- Achieved cost savings to the tune of 18% through various cost saving initiatives.
Adhered to rules & regulations notified by Central and State Government and other activities like reconciliation of material with vendors as well as in-house also.
Functioned as HOD-Materials division for plant-1 for 10 years and subsequently taken over plant-2 Materials deptt. in 1998 to steer several new business expansion initiatives.
- Successfully handled the additional charge of Materials Control Department (stores) since Sept., 2001.
- Hold the distinction for introducing new system for storage of production components to handle inventory levels and with easier traceability avoiding unwanted handling and maintaining FIFO.

Our services include vendor selection, seeking vendor approval, commercial agreement, product development, part approval processes, logistics, commercialization of supply, supply chain management, vendor audit & up gradation, manpower recruitment and facility management.
For each of our activity, we ensure compliance with ISO 9001, QS 9000 and IS 14002 guidelines, co-coordinating internal ISO audits and maintaining relevant documents for future reference. We implement safety rules & guidelines in the manufacturing facility. Moreover, we enforcing compliance with the same to eliminate happening of untoward incidents. Apart from this, we undertake new quality initiatives like Kaizen and Quality Circles.
