Dollar Company Pvt. Ltd. (
an ISO 9001-2000 Certified Company) was
started in 1943 and has been in the
manufacture of quality medicines for the past six decades. Established by
Mr. T. Durairajan, it is now being run by Mr. D. Parthasarathy, his son, the
Managing Director of the Company. Mr. Parthasarathy is a Graduate in
Pharmacy and has been at the helm of affairs of the Company, both in
manufacturing and marketing for the past three decades and more. Both
allopathic and ayurvedic products are manufactured at the factory in
Tondiarpet, Chennai-81. The factory is manned by well experienced technical
staffs not only in day to day activities but also R&D works. The plant
has 16000 sq.ft. area and is equipped with latest machinery and equipments
for manufacture of ointments, lotions, capsules, the capacity being 1.5
tonnes per shift. With minimum efforts and expenses, this capacity could be
increased greatly further, to meet the market demand.
The Allopathic Drugs manufacture started with HADENSA, the renowned piles
ointment since 1960 it is, for better efficacy is combined with HADENSA
ayurvedic capsules. Both these medicines taken in combination give the best
of results for eradication of the disease and LICHENSA meant for treatment
of fungus in skin, cracks on heels and infections, is having a field day in
the market. The allopathic drugs have GMP certification and process of
getting the certification is on for the ayurvedic medicines. Further, the
Company has initiated the process of obtaining ISO 9000 certification also
for its products. The other ayurvedic products, RHEUMENSA cream for
musculo-skeletal disorders which is a restorative medicine for pimples,
acne, sunburn, dark circles under the eyes, rough & dry skin etc. "

scabies, eczema, ring worm, irritation, fungal infection and it acts as a
safe mosquito Repellent".
The company has its field marketing staff all over India and has
consignment agents for distribution of medicines throughout the country, in
every State. Having established market in the country for its existing
products, the Company is in the process of introducing more herbal ayurvedic
products for hair care, intestinal disorders, ointments for cuts and wounds
and skin disorders, capsules for cold, fever, cough, hiccough, etc.
Being satisfied with the growing domestic market for all of its products,
Company now wants to enter export market in a sure way, targeting different
markets one by one, offering the very same high quality products that it is
offering to its consumers in India. There is great awareness about the
efficacy of herbal medicines all over the world and the Company wants to

HADENSA
(Ointment and Ayurvedic Capsules)
HADENSA Ointment is the internationally
renowned treatment for piles for over 70 years. In early 1997 in
response to increasing consumer demand, HADENSA oral ayurvedic capsules
were introduced. The combined usage of the Ointment - for external
application - and the ayurvedic capsules - for internal consumption -
provides an extremely effective treatment for piles.
HADENSAOintment contains ingredients to
shrink piles, a local anesthetic to deaden pain, a protectant to soothe
the irritated area, a counter-irritant to cool the area and an
antiseptic to prevent infection and help relieve itching. HADENSA
ayurvedic capsules contain a mix of time tested ayurvedic ingredients
that reduce swelling of veins and bleeding. They stimulate the liver,
improve appetite and help digestion. Further, the capsules have laxative
