About Us

Our donkeys are looked after by Mr. Sonam Angchuk, the caretaker, who ensures that all are fed a wholesome diet of wheat and grass. They also receive regular medical care from the Government's veterinary clinic. The local affairs are looked after by Mr. Stany Wangchuk along with his wonderful team and Miss Joanne Lefson, a South African journalist and the co founder. They visit Ladakh every year with funds and innovative ideas to make the donkeys more comfortable.
