The Founder
It all started with the professional commitment and technical ingenuity of a master craftsman-Late Shri Dahyabhai Panchal, father of the Draft-Air founder, Mr.G.D.Panchal. Shri Dahyabhai developed his expertise in one of the leading and most respected companies in the industry then, which he joined in 1932 and stayed on, till his death in 1975. Within the company, Dahyabhai became of its most valued asset, in terms of his professional and technical contribution.
Progresses
Young Mr.G.D.Panchal grew up in this ambience, sharing his father's tremendous insights into the intricate details of the industry. Armed with an engineering degree from the prestigious L.D.Engg. College, Ahmedabad, he stepped into his father's role in the same company in 1977, as a Design & Production Engineer. His intuitive grasp of essential technical details and his talent for marketing ensured for him,a meteoric rise to the post of Regional Manager (North & Central India) While the company where he worked helped to establish Mr.G.D.Panchal's high credibility and professional calibre, it did not provide enough mental space for his entrepreneurial urges. Therefore in 1986, he stepped out on his own, and floated his own enterprise to undertake turnkey contracts in the field of climate control for industry.
A Company Begins
Climate control, regular and conditioning to the precise needs of a wide array of industrial situations, and across differing climate zones, is both an art and a science. Therefore it was only logical for Mr.G.D.Panchal to take the next step - to move into manufacture. Manufacturing, came up near Ahmedabad, under the banner of M/s.Ambe Industries Pvt. Ltd., for latest state-of-the-art humidification & ventilation plants, using the most sophisticated equipment and processes world-wide. With the growing dominance of Mr.G.D.Panchal's professional standing came in recognition, in the form of being drafted on NITRA'S expert panel on 'humidifications and ventilation system in the textile industry'.

Design & Engineering
On receipt of order, we design the system and submit various parameters to the customer.
Design Input :On the basis of information and drawings received from Consultant/client or from tender, the detail drawings are prepared for air distribution system, plant rooms and equipments.Technical data sheets of manufactured and bought out items are prepared.
Review :Design / drgs / data sheets are approved by Sr.Personnel and any recommendation / changes are implemented.
Design Output : Final drawings / data sheets are prepared and sent to customer / Consultant for comments/approval. Based on comments drawing and data sheets are revised and after getting final approval released for execution. Our office is computerised for effective efficiency.
Execution
Project plans are prepared for proper execution of the project: Following activities to be followed:
Bar charts are prepared.
On receipt of finally approved drawing/ data sheet, bill of Qty. to be prepared for procurement. A separate bill of Qty. for self manufactured items, bought out Equipments and material to be sent directly to site is prepared.
Billing Break-up is given to the customer for their approval.
Commercial aspects of the projects like Bank Guarantee, Security Deposit etc. as per the terms of the order to be completed.
Copies of all these documents are forwarded to the office responsible for carrying out the site activities till completion of project.
Manufacturing
After receipt of order, Quality Assurance plans of self manufactured items to be submitted to customer/consultant for their approval. Manufacturing: to start after manufacturing clearance/final approval of QAP & Drawing is received from customer/consultant. For each stages of manufacturing i.e. from procurement of raw material to final testing of product, QAP to be followed and necessary records to be maintained for customers/consultant review.The final testing of equipment as per the approved data sheet/drawings to be carried out prior to offer to the customer/consultant by factory inspection department. Material to be despatched only after receiving Material Despatch clearance from customer/consultant.
Procurement Of "Bought Out" Items
After receipt of order, during detail engineering, the technical data sheet of the equipments to be purchased to be submitted to customer / consultant for approval. After receipt of approval of data sheet item to be order of Approved Make only. If new make is to be order, approval to be taken from customer / consultant. ( This should be avoided not to have delay in supply). Required documents from the Supplier / Manufacturer of the items to be purchased shall be submitted to customer/consultant. After getting manufacturing clearance and approval of documents, we shall give manufacturing clearance along with all documents to the supplier. All documents related to Inspection & Testing to be checked by our Inspection Department. prior to offering the items to the customer/consultant. Materials to be despatched only after receiving the material despatch clearance from customer/consultant.
Erection, Commissioning & Testing
On receipt of material at site, it is to be checked as per Material Despatch List and any shortage or damage must be notified and inspection must be requested for all shortages or damages. During unloading and handling, care must be exercised to prevent damage or distortion. Good rigging techniques should be applied. Storage area to be selected with a good level. The equipment stored in open atmosphere should be put on wooden bars and covered with tarpaulin. The electrical items if any like motors, starters, cables and other non ferrous small items should be stored in covered shed. The periodic inspection of equipment is to be carried out to check any rusting or damage due to atmospheric conditions.
ERECTION All Site engineers to be provided with the copy of approved Field Quality plan. All the Erection Manual for the bought out item to be made available at Site.Erection of all the equipment/plants shall be carried out strictly as per the instruction in the manual and records to be maintained as per the field quality plan.
Quality Control & Testing Facilities

Plug Gauges, Micrometers, Vernier calibers.
Drilling jigs, Std. measuring Instruments etc.
(II) FACILITIES AVAILABLE FROM OUTSIDE AGENCIES.
(i) Site Balancing. (ii) Non destructive Testing (Ultra sonic Testing) (iii) Chemical & Mechanical testing of test bars.
(III) FACILITIES FOR TYPE & ROUTINE TEST OF FANS AT WORKS & PERFORMANCE TESTING AT SITE.
