About Us

Dran was a dream and now it's the reality. We dare to dream and work hard to achieve it. It's a long journey of 25 years. DRAN was established by Mr Anil Nagpure (MD) in 1982 in the shop space of merely 600 sq feet. Dran was started with one press and a cutting machine. Then gradually the machining processes were incorporated. Dran became private limited in 1994. We had a sustained growth for about 12 years in the same place and moved to a bigger location for future expansion.

This new rented location was in Kondhwa and the space was quite bigger then the earlier about 2000 sq feet. The phase was of the transition from the machine shop to assembly shop. Now with a strong manufacturing base, Dran began to handle small assemblies right from the stage of machining. Then gradually Dran started concentrating on the manufacturing of Jig and Fixtures, Welding Fixtures, Special Purpose Machines, Head Rest Skinning Machines, Inspection Fixtures, CNC Machining Fixtures, Quality Checking Fixtures, Pneumatic Welding Fixtures, Truck Fixtures Line, Car Fixtures Line, Machining Fixtures, Industrial Application Fixtures, Battery Lead Welding Machines, job inspection fixtures,industrial job inspection fixtures and Conrod Bolt Tightening Machines. Dran started to expand in the close vicinity. As need of space was rising day by day, the acquired area was increased to 6000 sq feet. In 2006, the automobile market started booming and this was real time to enter in the market. Dran decided to spread the hands wide for its expansion. Dran occupied the 105,000 sq feet of land in area of Dhayari, Pune.

It took almost one year to construct the factory and to develop the land. In January 2007 we shifted to our own place, which has almost three times more working area, then before. Here we have given less emphasis on increasing the manufacturing strength and more on outsourcing in a big way. Our major strength is highly experienced manpower and in-house manufacturing capacity of the complete machine tool.

Today Dran is equipped with all conventional machine tools with the blend of CNC and VMC machine with table size of 2000 mm. Dran also has latest inspection facilities such as CMM, Trimos and FARO arm.

Tool Room
DRAN has a full-fledged Tool Room equipped with the variety of machines and latest technology.

The Tool Room also has the back up of Mechanical Design Section and latest measuring instruments. Our Tool Room is endowed with various types of conventional machines and special purpose machines. It is fully equipped in modern machines that include VMC, CNC Machining Centre and CAM Station. It specializes in manufacturing of welding Fixtures, CNC Machining Fixtures, Special Purpose Machines, Battery Lead Welding Machines, Head Rest Skinning Machines and variety of precise engineering job work. We are able to process a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. We are specialized in manufacturing of complex Machined components that require excellent surface finish. We specialize in both traditional & conventional methods of machining to attain the competitive edge over the industry.

With the latest use of technology, we can guarantee the accuracy and reproducibility and reliability of the fixtures. Our engineers are well versed to deliver high quality machining. At every step of machining we inspect the machined part and certify for the further operation to assure the '0' level of rework. We assure every Fixture/Machine to be successful in its first trial. The ability of achieving the accuracy is our key to success.

Quality Assurance
Our prime focus is to offer quality jigs and fixtures and reliable services including designing service and inspection service. We are an ISO 9001:2000 certified company and hence we assure of offering the array with standard quality. There is team of quality controllers which supervise every activities related to the products manufactured by us. Stringent quality measures are followed right from procurement of raw material to dispatch of the finished products.

We have latest inspection facilities such as CMM, Trimos and FARO arm which assist in offering qualitative range to clients. Our finished products are also passed through quality inspection at various parameters including:
  • Corrosion resistance
  • Efficiency and many others
