Silica Gel For Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) Silica Gel with calcium sulphate (CaSo4 ½ H2O) as binder is by far the most extensively used adsorbent in Thin layer chromatography because of the excellent separation it affords. When coated on a plate in the form of thin layer it serves as a versatile solid stationary phase for adsorption and partition chromatography. Application : Silica Gel - 'G' can be successfully employed in both qualitative and quantitative analysis of alkaloids, amino acids, oils and fats, vitamins, plant pigments, drugs and sugars. Silica Gel In Crystal Form Non Indicating Silica Gel Non indicating silica gels will adsorb moisture in exactly the same way as -indicating (blue) silica gel, but they will not indicate when they are becoming saturated by changing their colour. It will remain white when they are becoming saturated. This is useful in fillers, catalysts supports, adsorbent, dehydrating agent and as the buffing media in toothpaste. Activated Alumina Balls We are providing alumina balls that are manufactured from aluminium Oxide which is resistant to thermal stock and abrasion. Further, it does not shrink, swell, soften nor disintegrate when immersed in water.
Surface area are in the range 345-415 . Due to its higher capacity for water than Silica Gel at elevated temperatures it is mainly used as a desiccant for warm gases including air.
Applications :
• Purification of gases and liquids (removal of metallic traces, TBC and HF compounds). • Drying of organic liquids such as LPG, propylene, butene, steam cracked liquids, cyclohexane, gasoline, chloro and fluoro hydrocarbons, aromatic solvents. • Drying of air and gases such as steam cracked gases, catalytic reforming recycle gas, synthesis gas, natural gas, CO2. • Drying of organic liquids as LPG, aromatics, steam cracked liquids, gasoline, chloro and fluorocarbons. • Drying of air and gases as steam cracked gases, catalytic reforming recycle gases, synthesis gases, methyl chloride, natural gas, LNG, etc. • Drying of hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, CO2, etc. • Purification of gases and liquids (removal of metallic traces, BF3, TBC, HCl, HF and fluorinated hydrocarbons). • Catalyst for Claus conversion in sub dew point processes. • Air drying (PSA, TSA) • Instrument air, supersonic wind tunnel, compressed air • Gas drying Air separation plants, inert and rare gases, Hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, CO2. • Natural gas in production and compression plants, LPG, LNG. • Aromatics, naphtha cuts and cracked gas.
