Mode Of Operation

Kneading and mixing machines arrangement comprises of two specially designed Duplex type kneading arms or blades in one piece very precisely machined for accurate and proper shape and arranged horizontally in a trough, the lower portion of which consists of two semi-cylinders, revolving towards one another in opposite direction which provides highly intensive mixing, kneading and homogenizing action, even with materials of toughest consistency.

The emptying is effected by tilting the trough by means of a handle in case of the small size & by inching device or motor in case of large sizes. The whole kneading trough is capable of tilting from horizontal to vertical position through an angle of 110° for easy discharge of material. The machine can also be arranged for heating and cooling by providing a jacket.

Our range of Dissolver is designed keeping in mind the requirements of our clients. Size reduction is achieved by reducing the particle size of the solid phase or by breaking up of agglomerates. The higher the peripheral speeds of the impeller the higher the shear rate and shear stress in the fluid. Specially designed impellers are incorporated to develop tip speeds between 25 mtrs /sec to 40 mtrs /sec for thorough dispersion.

 Features :

•  In some processes size reduction is undesirable and it is necessary to make sure to control tip speeds
•  Dispersers operate on the principal of high shear
•  Although they are classified as grinders they do not do much grinding at all
•  Their value lies in ensuring a breakdown of agglomerates such as in paints for breaking down of pigments and other solids to incorporate these in liquid vehicles or in emulsions for shearing of fluid phases to produce dispersed droplets of fine size

Difference between Mixing and Dispersing:

 Mixing:

•  Is the addition of a solid into a liquid or vice versa
•  Mixing is a process to keep the product in suspension or to form a homogeneous blend
•  Simple mixing requires low to medium levels of energy

 Dispersing:

•  Is the breaking up of fine micronized solid particles down to its original size and wetting each of these individual particles with a liquid to achieve proper dispersion
•  High shear forces are required with specially designed impellers

Design Features:

•  Main Shaft: Stainless Steel tapered installed in a steel housing having taper Rollers Bearings
•  Dispersion Blade: Cowless type duly balanced and fitted on to the shaft
•  Power Pack (Lifting and Lowering): Mechanism complete with power pack unit, oil pump and all interconnecting fittings
•  Vessel Locking: A positive arm arrangement for centrally locating and locking the vessel in position
•  Headstock: Made from heavy steel sections with anti-twisting arrangements and is provided with covers that can be opened for maintenance
• Lifting Column: With foundation plate made from heavy duty steel sections to keep vibrations to the minimum
• Electronic Control Panel: It’s explosion proof or non explosion proof construction with inbuilt safety features

We offer a comprehensive range of Planetary Mixer that is used for mixing of ointments, paste, cream, dry powders or wet mass. The beaters rotate in circular path in the bowl, which enables faster and better mixing of material. The bowl, agitator and other parts of the machine coming in contact with the product are of stainless steel.
