Alopecia Reduction Surgery For Extreme Baldness
This is the staged surgery for advanced baldness (stage 6 or 7) where only Hair Transplant is usually inadequate and turns out to be very expensive. In stage 6 or 7, most of the hair roots have died and few remaining hairs are of poor quality in the central scalp. So in 2-3 smaller procedures the central scalp skin is reduced and the hairs on the sides (above the ears) are shifted more near the centre of the scalp with each stage. Finally only a narrow strip and the hair line area is left for the last stage when the Hair Transplant is done from hairs taken from the back side of the head to give the cover to the head and a respectable hair line.

Artificial Hair Transplant
We offer artificial hair transplant services to our customers in special cases as an alternative to hair transplant. This procedure is done in cases where it is not possible to carry out a hair transplant and is also done as a complement to it if the situation requires.
‘Biofibre’ of Italy and ‘Nido’ of Japan are a few of the artificial fibres that are used for this purpose. The use artificial fibres has become safer although in some countries their use is still not considered safe enough. Hence their use has been left to the medical regulatory bodies of different countries in which these are used.

Body Hair Transplant Surgery
Procedure
Essentially it is Follicular Unit Extraction (FUT) but often bulky soft tissue underneath and without strong bony support make it difficult than that from the scalp. Chest and back are the usual sites. Hair at other body parts can be taken but "wet zones" like arm pit, pubic area have specialized glands which may make scalp smell after transplant and ingrown hair at donor site can be more troublesome in "wet zones" and also in leg.
Advantages:
- It is especially valuable when scalp donor is exhausted.
- There is minimal evidence of scaring.

Steps Of Hair Transplant |
Our hair transplanting technique is done in a series of well defined steps that include:
- Step 1:
Harvesting of Strip: We trim the hair from the donor site, from back and side, after deciding on the length of the strip.
- Step 2:
Cutting of Strip into Follicular Units: The strips are slivered into rows of single follicular unit thickness utilizing high magnification and digital magnification techniques. These are further cut into Follicular Unit Grafts (FUG) and preserved into cold normal saline till they are implanted.
- Step 3:
Implantation of Graft to Recipient Area: The prepared grafts are implanted on to the affected area using a device known as implanter. This is done by taking utmost care of direction, depth, density and naturalness.
