In early 1980s, when Mr. Kachrulalji Dugad went about convincing farmers in Marathwada,Maharashtra, about the potential of Cotton Seed , he would not have imagined that he will be instrumental in bringing up a small green revolution in our District, by introducing and encouraging Cotton Seed cultivation on a commercial scale. The family was in the business of commodities trading and subsequently, they entered the business of ginning and oil milling. The family's efforts, along with that of the others, resulted in Cotton Seed revolution in Marathwada. Today Marathwada is considered as Cotton Oil bowl of the country, and contributes to 70% of its production. Despite all . This is largely due to its strict quality commitment and continuous innovation to keep with the times.
