For Eight Consecutive Years , the company was dedicatedly engaged in manufacturing of " Solid state " Electro surgical generators , most commonly reffered to as ' CAUTERY MACHINE " in surgical field , under the banner of ECLIPSE.
Prior to that , the directors were operational in manufacturing of cauteries as a propritory actvity , producing and marketing all on themselves.
As this being the sole , undeterred activity of the company , the company in substance could achieve the objective of manufacturing trustworthy units which soon became a mark of reliabilty with Urologist lobby , the only surgical faculty completely dependant on cautery machines for the success of sophisticated surgical technique termed as " Trans Urethral Resectoscopy of prostate " ( Called as T.U.R.P.)
The limited quantum of production, simplicity of operations and awareness of creating goodwill amongst the customers ensured the smooth functioning of every machine , enabling to give satisfactory service to customers for all these years and the failure rate of solid state was well maintained between 10-12 % as average.
Between 1991-1995 , avg 90-100 machines were sold per annum , between 1996-1999 , avg 130-140 machines were sold per annum and from 1999 onwards the number shot to 175 machines per annum with the introduction of micro-controller based units , counting only the direct promotional sales. With the introduction of new technology , the sales prospects witnessed an unprecedented growth. Today , Eclipse has to their credit a customer base of over ten - twelve thousand satisfied users , all over india and abroad. |
