The Eclipse Combustion Veri-Flame single burner monitoring system controls the start-up sequence and monitors the flame of single gas, oil or combination gas/oil burners. There are three different models to the Veri-Flame Line:

The eclipse rotary actuator is a keypad programmable, direct coupled, modulating motor for use in burner and valve control systems. It is typically used with and electronic control to regulate a process temperature. The drive shaft of the actuator connects to a butterfly valve stem, which rotates 90 degrees from minimum to maximum position.

Eclipse Atmospheric Injectors are simple, low cost, adjustable mixers designed to provide an air gas mixture to one or more burners. Atmospheric Injectors use the kinetic energy of a stream of gas to entrain part or all of the air required for combustion.

Two series of injectors are available: “Low Pressure” for use with gases up to 28” w.c and “High Pressure”, for gases from 1 psig to 30 psig. Eclipse ES-Series ratio regulators are used in applications where gas to air proportional flow is required. The gas flow is controlled as a function of the air pressure through a loading line which connects into the top of the regulator. As the system air pressure increases, it forces the ratio regulator valve to open causing the outlet pressure to increase until the two pressure balances. As the load line pressure increases, the ratio of the outlet pressure to the load line pressure will be slightly less than 1:1.

The ratio regulators have a bias adjustment for varying the gas flow when setting the burner at low fire. It can be used to increase or decrease the gas flow resulting in gas rich or lean combustion. The adjustment is restricted in the gas rich direction therefore limiting the gas flow at zero air pressure.

The ratio regulators are designed to optimize performance as ambient temperature and inlet pressure vary. Feature include:

The thermjet liquid burners are nozzle mix burners for light or heavy oil. The burners are designed to operate on low pressure atomizing air and will operate efficiently throughout a wide operating range. Typical applications include high temperature kilns and forge and melting furnaces.

The thermjet Liquid burners are available in three sizes with maximum capacities from 300,000 BTU/hr to 1,500,000 BTU/hr.

All burner models can be controlled on-ratio with a cross-connected fuel regulator to maximize efficiency, or with fixed air to improve temperature uniformity in the furnace.

The standard burner configuration includes an manual adjustable oil flow metering valve, The burner also includes an integrated air orifice to simplify piping, set –up and adjustment. The burner can also be supplied with an optional oil pressure gauge.

The combustion air, atomization air and oil inlets are independently adjustable in 900 increments to suits a variety of piping alternatives.

Burner ignition is done with a gas pilot. A manual torch can be used in some applications. The burner is supplied with a 3.4000F rated refractory combustor and cast iron holder to allow mounting to the furnace wall.
